At the Sons of Liberty we believe in making revolutionary craft whiskies without compromise. Our ingredients, distillation processes and undying passion create delicious whiskies that have never been born before. From American Single Malts to Seasonal Whiskies, we are committed to our craft.
This local distillery and now brewery is really growing, and we saw the difference first hand! When we toured two years ago, they distlled whiskey, vodka and gin. Fast-forward two years and the transformation is amazing. The simple bar that once was is now part of the production room. Display of product is no longer on flat table, but on neat and mounted shelves at the new entrance. And, you can taste and buy beer now! The beer is the whiskey base. Big things are happening in little Peace Dale. Stop by and check out a serious distillery and brewing, and manufacturing bar. All product is local and made in house. Staff is awesome! The site of America's third lighthouse and the first in Rhode Island dates back to 1749.
We found the lighthouse closed for the season, but the park is very pleasant, plenty of birds in the water, dogs & kids & people watching galore. Remarkably clean restrooms. Free.

The Block Island Ferry is your full service ferry company. We have the most departures and convenient ferry schedule from the mainland which allows you greater flexibility when traveling to and from Block Island on our traditional or high speed ferry!
The small ferries are gone (gone south I heard), but the old standbys are still going strong, and for my money and time, nothing is better than the hour spent watching Block Island getting slowly closer over an hour’s time, or reflecting on your BI stay as you see the island slowly get smaller. Walk on, take a bike or car, and enjoy the ride! Great, friendly service. Usually a soft, easy ride (a bit bumpy if you travel soon after a big storm, but really, no worries, the ferries are big enough to easily shoulder the waves away without much rolling or pitching).

In a most unsuspecting place! Very charming upscale Playhouse by the sea! Tickets are reasonable and show quality is terrific. There's a lovely bistro connected to the playhouse in which you can dine at before the show. The food is excellent and price are reasonable. There are the most unique upscale restrooms on a trailer! We would love to go back and catch another show without gay life styles being brought forth. It has a concession stand for intermission as well.

Huge selection of all kinds of excellently cared-for perennials. However, be prepared to pay top dollar for the quality and selection. Sometimes, depending on who is available to answer questions, the sharing of plant expertise is gracious and helpful. At other times, questions are brushed aside brusquely.

Warzone Paintball & Airsoft Park is RI's premier field. We offer friendly professional staff, great playing fields and a clean family fun enviroment. Never played before, no problem we have rentals available. Games are held every Saturday and Sunday from 10am-4pm from late March until late November. Private parties are available.
I have played at Warzone several times over the years and the field just keeps getting better and better. This year its under new management. The guys over at rhode island paintball & Airsoft and the hurricanes have partnered up to deliver an amazing woodsball field. The best part is they keep adding new bunkers and forts. This field is also byop, bring your own paint, or they have paint available down there. They also do all day compressed air and co2 fills. I strongly recommend this field.

Long flat beach, ideal for surfing.
Ample parking and right on Ocean Road, this is a conveniently located and lovely beach. I went on a blustery day after Labor Day, so paid no fees at all. It's right downtown so there's restaurants and shops nearby. Definitely not a secluded beach feel, but that's why it's the Town Beach after all! Enjoy!

Wickford Village is located in North Kingstown, RI. It is comprised of Brown Street, Main Street & West Main Street. Established in 1709, Wickford Village provides picturesque waterfront streets lined with one-of-a-kind shops featuring jewelry, housewares, clothing and more. You’ll also find galleries, antique shops, cafes and restaurants nestled amongst beautifully maintained churches, colonial homes and gardens. Have a boat? Tie up to the town dock while you explore our village.
Always enjoy walking around this little town with it's shop and early colonial history. Besides the shops, be sure to check out the historic houses and churches, especially the Old Narragansett Church built in 1707 ( a little hard to find, located on a small back street ).
