The idea is simple: You and your group of friends, family, clubs, church groups, coworkers, literally anyone, book a themed room at Great Escape of Central Texas, show up and then play your themed room where you have 60 minutes to escape using clues, puzzles, wits and deductive reasoning. Can you escape in time?
A friend of mine invited me to go with her and some of her other friends. They had the Bank Heist picked out and I paid online for my ticket. If you really read about your room they give you a hint and if you...MoreWe are so happy that you enjoyed your experience with us! Thank you for your kind words and we look forward to seeing you again.

I reviewed Stillhouse Wine Room a year ago and recently went back and I'm not sure if the owners or the management has changed, but it was a terrible experience. The service was terrible. Our first server never came back to see us. There were two men that were working the floor and they should have been embarrassed of the way they treated the customers. Not just our table but the whole room. They don't use trays to serve the drinks, they were spilling drinks and at one point I had to take my drink of the servers hands because he had so many glasses in his hands. It was so crowed that I kept having to push my table further and further back and the server kept hitting my table. The musician was so loud that I was screaming at my husband. It is not a wine room!! It is a loud bar that sells wine.

A fun, water park with pools and slides. Slides and pools vary for ages. Lifeguards available. Two things I don't like ....no lockers to put valuables and parents have to pay to enter with children even if they aren't swimming or sliding.

This is a good course. Layout is good and it's pretty open. It's always windy when I play here though. Not too many courses in Killeen so this is a good option.

I've never come out here and not had a good time. The staff are friendly and helpful. The bands are usually pretty good. The prices are a little higher than I'd like, but not crazy high. The atmosphere feels open and very welcoming.

We had a groupon coupon to use yesterday which also happened to be "$5 entry day". It wasn't too busy and there was a lot at the facility to do. While the kids played the adults drank Poweraid, coke, and ate pizza. We were also able to check out a deck of cards and had a good game of Gin Rummy.
We will be back!

This bar is open from Wed thru Sat 4 pm to 2 am. I am not impressed with the atmosphere here. Everything is very cheaply made to include the benches with seat cushions. Thought was not given to light placement, so some of the light fixtures blinded me for a second or two. On live music nights, my advice is to get there early because seating is limited. The music was good, but the room acoustics is poor. Wine servings are small and expensive. Wine flights are offered, but they weren't on the menu at the time of my attendance. I asked about flights. Happy hour is from 4 pm to 7 pm, but it is limited to certain drinks, and it does not include wine. There is also a cover charge on certain nights, but you don't have to pay it if you come before a certain time and stay. The bar is currently closed for remodeling so I am hoping for some improvements (comfortable seating, space utilization, light placement, acoustics). It is supposed to reopen some time in November.

Met Joseph and his team. They are friendly and super helpful. I thought it would be crazy expensive but it was ok for the amount of fun we had. We did a sunset tour of the local area. Thinking about other options in the future like having them bring us to a restaurant or something like that.

I am hesitant to even write a review but unfortunately feel it's necessary to improve the experience of future visitors. The staff are friendly and love their jobs. I visited this establishment two days in a row. The first day I went by myself. It was my first time on a horse and was nervous. One of the guides was hit on her face by her personal horse and she went down. The horse trotted wildly towards the other horses while we were already mounted. They eventually collected the horse. It took two attempts. On this day I noticed the trails were overgrown with a lot of branches.
On the second day as Autumn, the guide, was trying to clear a thick branch while mounted. Her horse kept pulling ahead and she accidentally released a thick branch to my face. I'm lucky I stayed on top of the horse. The impact caused an abrasion to my forehead and a laceration to my eyelid. It required 4 stitches. In order for this business to blossom and succeed. These trails need to be adequately maintained and cared prior to taking riders out. The terrain is rocky and one of the horses was very hesitant to step on the rocks. The guide mentioned two days in a row that he needed new shoes. They offered many apologies. I believe this place has the potential to bring lots of entertainment to many visitors but they really need to care for the trails. The second picture was taken before the incident. My pictures before the incident are also posted on the fb page.
