Overal: free entrance more or less. 500HUF for tower entrance was worth it. The building is huge and i didnt expect this in a city such as this. I definitelly recommend visiting this gem. The garden around and the pond are nice too.
All in all you wont spend more than 1 hour here.

Very well done exhibits, as well organised and pretty well described in three languages (Hungarian, English and German). In hall number three there were some items only described in Hungarian, which was a pity because it looked like interesting stories with photos relating to the family generations who lived there as well. If you go to the Palace, see this as well.

POSITIVE: Great sleeping area with grass and big trees so its a shade. Great bars in the background, not to deep for children, sand, good food, good drink, prety cheap, mini golf, swimming pool with cold water.
NEGATIVE: no music on the beach, tobogan chusda is not free, wifi to overcrowded, dirty muddy water, dead carps swimming in water, bird feathers everywhere, parking not for free, to manny shells in the mud,

We stayed near Keszthely and because weather was rainy I planned some museum visit, This museum was part of 6 others, if someone buys a collecting ticket so can visit all small 7 museums with that ticket for a cheaper price. Fist we visited the Doll museum, which had a huge selection of Hungarian traditional customs wore by smaller and height of man dolls. It is a real historical view of the customs and groups of people around the country through centuries. Also in the attic there were using tools for kitchen, garden, building, etc of the past. Was interesting that some of these stuffs were familiar for me as my grandparents still used them in their lives, however the world developed, technique grew over the past few decades so much that these are all unknown tools for the newer generations.
Very interesting and worth to see, part of Hungarian culture. I can recommend.

10-12 Cadillacs from the very first era to nowadays. One of them is the actual one that was present in the Godfather movie. You are also given a guided tour, with the history of each of the exhibit cars. A lot of interesting facts and the unforgettable Cadillac smell <3!

Probably the best of the Exhibitions whiting the castle. If you ever watched a movie with a carriage, you'll feel all of them yours. It is worth not rushing, but spending 1-2 hours to take a closer look to the hidden details of each and every object.

This Shell Parliament is part of the 7 museums you can buy a collector ticket to look around. It is in a basement, under glass, and quite unique in its own type. Was made by an older lady who collected 4,5 million pannon-sea shells then separated them by shape and colour to build the Hungarian Parliament mock-up. That is a real proof that human can do everything if they want and there is no barrier, just have to invest time and energy. Her work is really respectable and the country can be proud of its people like she was. If someone is in Keszthely and have a look at one of these 7 museums, better to buy a collector ticket and see this Parliament as well.
