Rand Park is beautiful. Lots of picnic areas, playground equipment, and a frisbee golf course and a lovely place from which to view the Mississippi River. The pavilion is used frequently throughout the summer months for concerts. From Thanksgiving to Christmas the park is decorated with hundreds of displays, thousands of lights, and it's free to drive through. City of Christmas in Rand Park has been rated as one of the top Christmas light displays in the nation, and while it is free, visitors have the opportunity to make a donation as they drive through.
