I really enjoyed this room! Nice puzzles, theme and surprises. I made sure to watch one episode of the series which helped with the mood and the theme. I’ve done more than 100 rooms at the time of writing and I would recommend the room. Nice staff and GM as well!

Soldier of Orange - The Musical is based on the true story of one of the greatest Dutch resistance warfighters, Erik Hazelhoff Roelfzema. Soldier of Orange - The Musical premiered on October 30, 2010 with the former Queen of the Netherlands Beatrix in attendance. The theatre, where Soldier of Orange - The Musical currently plays is a plane hangar at the former Valkenburg Airport in the Netherlands. The audience experiences the show in ‘SceneAround’, a theatrical performance solution specially developed for this production. The audience is seated on a 360-degree rotating auditorium that turns from set to set, accompanied by 180-degree projections, to create an unforgettable theatre experience. Since 2015 the production has broken all Dutch theatre records. Soldier of Orange - The Musical has played more than 2.700 sold-out performances to a total audience of over 2,9 million.
This is one of the best musicals I have ever seen. There is so much going on and the way the sets have been created (i.e. the audience is setting in the middle of the different sets) is very unique. The musical is an experiences for all your senses and the location makes it a truly unique experience. This is definitely a must see!

Normally, one doesn’t expect to find such local museum in a small town entertaining, informative and exciting, but this’s the way Katwijks Museum is. I was there with my family - two adults and a 9-y/o child and spent there amazing 2 hours. It’s located in a former mansion house which was extended quite considerably for museum purposes, but still from outside it looks much smaller when it actually is. The museum provides a very good introduction into the history of the town and the everyday living conditions of the people around 17-18 centuries and on. Its collection boasts some good paintings, sculpture, domestic objects and clothes, etc. What makes it really interesting is an exciting presentation: the objects and pieces of furniture are set into real domestic interiors, scenes of everyday fishermen’ life are reproduced in human-size mannequins and highly realistic decorations. The numerous models of ships, the village and brief explications (instead of tedious long texts) make the exposition highly informative and interesting. The inner architecture of the museum provides for several floors and lots of small spaces and thus dynamic. You’ll definitely not regret about time spent!
