Monet painted Juan-les-Pins. So did Picasso. If they showed up today, they'd find a youthful summer destination that centers on sunbathing (invented by Coco Chanel, some claim), casinos, nightclubs, and staying out late. TripAdvisor members say the one thing "JLP" lacks is restaurants, but neighboring Antibes, a short bus ride away, has more than enough to compensate.

This is no ordinary bike hire shop! Firstly the prices are reasonable and the location is accessible. Secondly they are lucky enough to have the services of Boris, the most efficient and generous member of staff you could imagine. Unruffled at dealing with a number of renters at a time and giving everyone their due attention, he goes beyond the call of duty. When we snapped our key in the bike lock, 5 miles out of Juan-les-Pins, out of hours and on a Sunday afternoon, Boris not only answered our distress phone call, but got on his own bike immediately - from his home village 15 kms away - to come and rescue us. Without bolt cutters to see us immediately back on our way, he arranged instead for an Uber to take us back to town and for two more bikes to be made available to us, all still out of hours. (He was to deal with the stranded bikes the next day.) He charged us only the cost of the Uber ride and a lock replacement, asking nothing for his own time and us having disturbed his Sunday afternoon. Two days later, we rented another bike, equally excellent, after which Boris joined us for an icecream at the amazing Riviera Glaces, also in Avenue Wilson. The man is lovely! The business functions brilliantly under him! Forget all other bike rental places in Antibes and use only this one! They deserve everyone's support! Bravo, Boris!

After the hussle and bussell of Nice beach, JLP beach is such a welcome sight. It’s got such a chilled vibe with the gentle lapping of the bright blue sea on the fine golden sand.. it’s beautiful. Very clean but does get crowded especially at the weekend. It’s shallow for paddling in and crystal clear. You can have a massage too.

I have visited many times while living in antibes, but I knew it was great when my mom came to visit and was captivated by the church she absolutely loved it. I would recommend to visitors!
