We started the hike at the parking area near Restaurante Serra de Bèrnia on CV749. We have done this hike before as a clockwise circuit, climbing up the NE side of the ridge to the natural tunnel at Forat, through the tunnel to the south side of the ridge, with a return to the start via Fort Bèrnia toward the west end of the ridge. The climb to the tunnel is steep, and in winter can be quite slippery. Because of this, we opted to start the loop in a counter-clockwise direction to the Fort, and returned the same way. This made for a very pleasant outing into the spectacular scenery of Serra de Bèrnia.

A great place to spend a couple of hours in the morning. Make sure one of you isn’t drinking because there are plenty of wines to taste and buy at such a great price. There are lots of other items to look at and buy. Olive oils (so many), dried fruits, nuts and so much more.

Visited here to sample the local Jalon valley wines... great place to stop by, just a few yards from the mas y mas supermarket. Good selection of local wines and mistellas ... bought the dry white and dry red, both very drinkable and at a ridiculous cost of around £1.15 per litre!!! Highly recommended and no pressure at all to buy, you can try any you like and the lovely lady was very good with my Spanglish !!

Should suit most people who like a market. But no veg or fruit. This is clothes & everything-else, PLUS the Flea market (Boot Sale). If you like boot sales, you will like this. As someone-else commented, some of it is tat, but aren't most Boot sales? It went for miles. I went 2 Saturday's in a row. The first week, there wasn't much Flea market. The second week, it was massive. It went on forever.

Bar cafeteria open from Tuesday to Sunday serving breakfasts, brunches and lunches from 9am to 3pm. Large sun terrace perfect for cyclists and walkers or just relaxing with friends. Fantastic coffee and cold beer!
Great place to go to for breakfast or lunch, The lovely big terrace in the sun is a great place to chill out and have a drink or warm up inside by the woodburner on chilly days, also good stop for cyclists as plenty of room to put your bikes. We will be visiting again.

I am Ingrid, I have a second hand store in Jalón where I have lived more than 11 years. Many tourists visit us every day to be able to buy a product they need and thus not spend a lot of money to buy new things. They also visit us to sell us products that they will no longer be able to use since their holidays end.
I have been cycling since my 11 years and am known for always keeping my material in top condition. In 2019 I started renting a bike in the Marina Alta, Alta Bike Rental was born. In cooperation with Wilier and Gazelle, a nice range of bicycles is ready for you. We stand for service and quality, this is the common thread throughout our activities. We are happy to be at your service to make your cycling holiday a success in all areas!
