The largest city in China is also its most cosmopolitan, offering visitors a chance to experience the past, present, and future all at once. The Huangpu River splits Shanghai into two districts: Pudong and Puxi. The Pudong skyline looks like it was ripped from the Jetsons, with the bulbous Oriental Pearl TV and Radio Tower looking a bit like a two headed lollipop. On the Puxi side, you can walk the Bund riverside district to get a taste of old Shanghai.

It’s a very big train station. Reminds me of Londons British rail stations. It’s the gateway to any destination, easily connects you to metro to and from hotel. Also download China train app so you can see times you will not be able to purchase ticket in advance if a foreigner. No credit cards must have cash. Unless you have Alipay. And must have passport to purchase tickets if a foreigner. Welcome to high speed trains they way to travel in China for long distance to major city to city. Can get expensive if traveling in business class which is the way to go. For me it’s privacy and place to relax with out all the load phone calls everyone is making.

Always a place I visit during my stops in Shanghai... About 10-12 minutes walk from LONGXI LU metro station... Or see my attached photo for Chinese address for taxi driver. Lots of bars showing live sport, pool tables, happy hours, food from around the world. Beware, this is a "lady drink" area in some bars... Just saying... It is a very safe place to relax and enjoy. Recommendations are Big Bamboo bar for sports and pool, Pitstop bar for beers, Fat Cow for a decent burger and cocktails. Have fun
