The tourist information center in Hokueicho, Tottori Prefecture, which is famous as the town of Conan, is located at JR Yura Station (Conan Station). Of course, we have maps and tourist brochures around Hokuei-cho as a regular tourist information center, but in addition, there are autograph illustrations of Gosho Aoyama, the signature of the voice actor of the anime "Detective Conan", and There are pamphlets of Conan films, etc., and a series of Conan books arranged, and a rest space where you can relax while reading this, and a space for Conan fans, which seems to be a facility that can meet Conan, is a fulfilling space for Conan fans.

Gosho Aoyama Furusatokan is a manga / animation museum located in Hokueicho, Higashimuro-gun, Tottori. It is a museum of Gosho Aoyama who is known as a cartoonist from the same town and the original author of "Detective Conan". Adjacent to Road Station Daiei and opened on March 18, 2007. This museum has been selected as one of the “Animation Holy Land of Japan 88 that I would like to visit” by the Japan Association of Animation Tourism.
This is the very best place for a detective Conan fan. Inside the museum, there is a lot of original comic books work from Gosho Aoyama sensei. Also, a place to taking a picture with your favorite character. Moreover, there are a lot of original souvenirs that fan must-have. Every corner of this small town has "Conan" decorations such as a train station, sweet cafe, and restaurants. If you are a one who loves detective Conan. This is the very best places to visit.

The actual name of Conan Station is Yura station. It is about an hour train ride from Tottori Station. There are about 5-6 trains for each direction daily so I would recommend at least half a day in this city. The station is full of Conan-themed decorations from the walls and ceilings of the ticket counter, stairs at the platform, lockers, and so on. There is a Tourist Information Centre that sells Conan postage stamp sheet and guidebook of Conan Town. These are not available in Gosho Aoyama Manga Factory and Conan Shopping Street. You can also do stamp rally with the Guidebook and if you can get at least 5, you can get a sticker from the same counter later on. The biggest attraction is the coloured Conan statue outside the station. Although it is not as big as I imagined, the statue alone is worth 5 star rating for Conan fans. Near the bicycle parking lot (turn left after exiting the station), there is a smaller bronze statue of Conan as well.
