LOVE THIS PLACE! Family + small children friendly with TONS of free information about sustainable building & living. I visited at a time in my life where I had very little hope for my future and my health. Within just the first hour of being there, I felt a complete sense of hope, encouragement, wonder, & craving to learn more. I have since volunteered there once and even moved closer so that I can save up and take the courses they offer. I love how open and encouraging everyone is there and how diverse it is each time. I’ve met some of the most amazing people that I am still connected with there who are so helpful and genuinely kind. I was so sad when the city tried to thwart their efforts by closing them down temporarily due to minor issues with fire access but so so happy they were able to raise enough to reopen! I can’t wait to go back and bring more of my friends & family!

I loved the Hesperia Lake, At first we saw a waterfall and then a lot of birds. These birds go to here for heat, and when back to Canada. There are rocks and lots of water. The trees were nice as well! Many people give food here. A must see! A must see!

Over the last three years, we've been camping (full hook-up), a dozen times. We are never disappointed, no matter what activity we choose. The camping spaces are well-laid out; the swim beach and water are clean; hiking/biking trails abound (even connecting with the Pacific Crest Trail; beautiful views; great areas for setting up the telescope. The park rangers/employees have always been pleasant and helpful, especially when I was scouting the recreation area for a large group campout (how I found it).
