My husband and I had such a nice time at Sapphire Hill's pick up party yesterday. We brought another couple and were treated like royalty. We've been members for about 5 years and were happy to meet (in addition to seeing the same employees we've gotten to know over the years) a couple of new ones, so the winery is growing. Check it out, you will enjoy the wine and any food served is always yummy. Thank you, Lisa!

When we made our tasting appointment , we knew we were visiting a small winery with a simple tasting room and pleasant patio area. We were pleasantly surprised by the lovely confirmation letter which was very welcoming, listed the several wines we would try and encourage us to bring some snacks to enjoy with the wines on the patio overlooking the vineyard.
Our host, Cyndee, could not have been more welcoming and enjoyable. We tried a range of wines from a sparking cuvee , sauv. blanc , some chards and pinot niors ending with a zin. All were very nice.
Overall a very enjoyable, casual afternoon experience and a pleasant surprise.

We were driving first time in the area and randomly came across this gem. We arrived with no reservation but graciously accommodated us by offering a modified wine tasting experience on the patio. This was perfect considering the beautiful views and great wines. They provided top notch service and we became members as a result. Looking forward to our next visit!

My wife and I stumbled upon their tasting room by accident. My wife had trouble getting out of the rental car due to the height of the curb. A woman, with an Australian accent, who just left the tasting room, assisted my wife and welcomed us to Healdsburg and Williamson. We just had to try. Suffice it to say, we joined their wine club and purchased a jar of truffle salt and other delightful accompaniments (which were served with the complimentary tasting). As we were about to leave, we discovered that the woman who assisted my wife was Dawn Williamson, the proprietor!!!

This was our favorite winery in this area. It was so peaceful to see the Dry Creek River which had salmon. Goats, sheep and chickens were also on property. There were outside tables to enjoy the surroundings and also sip on some amazing red wines. So many people were carrying out boxes of wine so we knew that this was a great place. The staff was very informative and took time to explain the different wines. My husband bought the 2014 Dragonfly Red Field blend which was billed as a big and intense red blend of Syrah and Zinfandel and also the 2014 Dark Horse Cabernet Sauvignon. The wines were $39-$45 and normally more expensive than we would buy but they were simply that good. The wine tasting was complimentary when buying wine which was appreciated. I would highly recommend visiting this winery.

We had a lovely private tour and tasting with Lucy on a hot day. The cave was a cool escape from the heat. Interesting history and tour, followed by a quality seated tasting in their cave room. Not too crowded, which was nice for a Friday afternoon. The wines didn't blow us away, but they were quite nice and we did buy a couple of bottles.

Spent part of an afternoon here with my wife and wow has this town changed. Like a lot of wine country towns Healdsburg has changed dramatically over the last several years. Lots of interesting stores and places to sit and enjoy a flight of wines. We also had a very nice meal at Camp Forina which looks like a local hangout and worth the effort to find.
