Did a round trek to Top Withins stopping here briefly on the way, Meet 2 walkers coming from the other direction to chat to briefly, but, other than a small chatty grouse that followed us, we were alone in this peaceful environment

Werxzovart is a solo artist owned and run studio gallery in Haworth, West Yorkshire. The artist Sonje Hibbert makes all the work which includes ceramic vessels, acrylic painted canvas and various steel & mixed media works of art. The very high quality pieces are collected by customers around the world and Sonje welcomes you to view the work in the quirky gallery on Main Street. Stunning work made on site, very unique and original pieces to adorn your home. Highly collectable is an understatement and Sonje values the support of all her customers. There is also opportunity to participate in pottery classes at the studio which is located behind the main gallery space. Sonje appreciates you may wish to record pieces in the gallery to reflect on for a future purchase however for artist copyright reasons ( and respect!) we would rather you don't take photographs in the gallery but ask first or use the website. Thanks in advance and thanks also in advance if you are leaving a review.

* 17th March - we have closed the museum due to the C-19 outbreak. Check website for the latest information.* The Bronte Parsonage is the former home of the world's most famous literary family and the place where Charlotte, Emily and Anne wrote some of the greatest novels in the English Language. The house evokes the atmosphere of the Brontes' time and offers visitors an unique insight into their day - to - day lives and varied interests. The rooms the Brontes' used are largely unchanged and are filled with a world-class collection of furniture, clothes and personal possessions. Whether you are a fan of the Brontes' writing or simply intrigued by remarkable people and their stories, you will find visiting the Parsonage an absorbing and unforgettable experience. The museum offers an ever-changing programme of exhibitions, events, and activities for the whole family. Listed opening hours reflect first and last entry to the Museum (Last entry 4.30, shop remains open until 5.00pm).
This is an excellent museum to visit - and not just for Bronte fans - there is plenty to see and occupy the visitor for hours. Bronte fans will find it exceptional - there are many personal items belonging to the Bronte's to look at - its so inspiring and the staff are really passionate about the place - and really helpful too. The surrounding area is good to explore too - including a walk on the moors.

A bracing walk over a lovely moorland, passing the Bronte falls and bridge, a small part of the way we were followed by a little Grouse that made its rather strange territorial squawk, very well signposted round trip

My 13-year-old daughter and I made this hike one afternoon while staying in Haworth. I believe there are guided tours, but we decided to follow a crowd and do the hike ourselves. The falls are about 2 1/2 miles each way from the parsonage...another mile or 2 to Top Withens...but we didn't go that far. Lovely scenery and peaceful. We went on a partly cloudy day. I would take sturdy shoes and water to drink. It's a little hike but worth the effort!

Visited this church as I believed that I've got ancestors that lived and worked in the Haworth area a couple of hundred years ago, lovely church and well worth a visit,I managed to find one of my ancestors Graves in the churchyard, which was a bit strange as it is so big,but I'll be back there in a couple of weeks to pay my respects again

A Bar And Bistro At The Top Of The Main Street In Haworth. We Specialise In Brewing Our Own Beer, Homemade Food And Recently Distilling Our Own Gin.
Excellent bar and bistro, serving amazing food, and they have a really great selection of beer and gin. After me booking the restaurant on the wrong night, thought it was for the night before, they accommodated myself and my wife with no fuss at all. Very chilled vibe to the place and unbelievable service. Food was outstanding as were the drinks and the food portion size is too much!. The best restaurant food we have had in many years. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and go about their jobs with so great efficiency. I would highly recommend the Haworth Steam Brewing and Bistro to anyone!
