I love Lafrenier Park. . It is very spacious, there are more than enough areas to feel comfortable. There are Shelters that you can rent for a more private setting. There’s a bike & jogging path, and so much more It also has ponds with ducks!!! Very peaceful and enjoyable play area for the children.

The National WWII Museum is the top-rated tourist destination in New Orleans, TripAdvisor's #2 museum in the world and #2 in the U.S., and an unforgettable way to experience World War II—from industrial efforts on the home front to the combat experience of the American servicemember abroad. Offering a compelling blend of sweeping narrative and poignant personal detail, the Museum features immersive exhibits, multimedia experiences, and an expansive collection of artifacts and first-person oral histories to take visitors inside the story of the war: why it was fought, how it was won, and what it means today. Beyond the galleries, the Museum offers unique access to experiential history, including an opportunity to tour and even ride on an authentically restored PT-boat, tours behind the scenes to handle artifacts alongside Museum curators, and an impressive collection of restored and working macro-artifacts to discover. The Museum is open daily, 9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. nationalww2museum.org
We spent a little over a half day at the museum and left more to see for a future visit. As suggested in Trip Advisor reviews we first bought tickets and experienced "Beyond All Boundaries", narrated by Tom Hanks. It was awesome and was a great way to kick-off a visit to the museum.

Went there for an intro class and then came back twice more to practice shooting.
The place is well maintained, clean and safety standards and adherence are flawless. Prices are fair and staff are super friendly and helpful. This is also the closest place to downtown NOLA where you can get training for concealed carry permit. Plenty of parking behind the store.
Will definitely return.

Very nice ballpark. The quality of ball is very nice and the price is just right. There isn't a bad seat in the house. The seats are individual seats. The food choices are pretty good, more than just burgers, hot dogs, and fries.

Captain James was fun and knowledgeable, passionate about the bayou. He might be hard to understand for some with his cajun accent
He was easy to work with for the reservation. We brought some beer on that we bought next door at the Hollywood bar next door. $15 uber ride from downtown neworleans. Watch out for Winky, huge 14' gator blind in one eye.

Only a short drive from the heart of New Orleans. Full of action packed fun with Laser Tag, Bumper Cars, Cosmic Golf, Climbing Challenge, Human Maze, and Arcade. Laser Tag combines cutting edge technology with with an action-oriented game to create an exhilarating, heart-pounding adventure where video games come to life. Race against friend, family, and the clock as you dash through the Maze, to find hidden check points and a brain bogfling race to the exit before you lose your mind. Show of your ninja skills on the Climbing Challenge. It's a 24" vertical obstacle course.
Our middle school choir traveled to New Orleans to sing and enjoy the sites. This was one of our stops after a day of site seeing. We had 118 people and the staff was so organized and able to get everyone in and enjoying themselves quickly. There are a good number of party rooms. Each party room is named for easy group organization. Colored armbands were issued for the laser tag game, tickets given for a bumper car ride, and cups provided for all you can drink soft drinks or lemonade. Kids enjoyed themselves and were called by group when food (pizza) was ready. Pizza was pretty good and served hot and quickly. Laser tag room was great! There were high and low areas and plenty of places to hide. Adults and kids had a blast. There were also plenty of arcade games and even a glow in the dark 9 hole putt putt type game. I believe there was a maze as well but we did not do that. Even though we had a large crowd everything g seemed to move quickly and was well organized. The place was clean and the staff very friendly, helpful, and competent. Would definitely visit again if back in town!

ticket sales were supposed to start at 7:30, but did not start until about 8:45 because the owners wife was not there to sell. Pretty irresponsible for her to be holding up hundreds of people because she was late. After getting tickets, there was about another half hour wait in line before they started letting people in. They DID show clips of old horror movies while we were waiting to enter. The pre-show was the best thing about the entire experience

Located only 30 minutes from the French Quarter, Xtreme Xperience offers you the chance to DRIVE or RIDE in a selection of the world’s best exotic supercars like the Ferrari 458 Italia, Lamborghini Huracan or Porsche 911 GT3 for an adrenaline-pumping Xperience on NOLA’s world-class 1.8 mile racetrack! Add a dose of adrenaline to your stay in the Big Easy.
I signed up to do the Xtreme Xperience at Pitt Race in Pennsylvania in June 2017. I signed up to do 3 laps in a Ferrari 458 and had fun. I would recommend this event to any novices at autoracing, because you will have a blast. If you have experience on a racetrack, I would recommend going elsewhere for this kind of experience.
A little background: I have driven Ferraris and Porsches at Exotics Racing in Las Vegas, which is a competitor with a different format. I've also done some autocross events and track days. While I am definitely not an expert, I'm definitely not a novice either.
The whole Xtreme Xperience took 2 hours, just like the website described. If you are wondering why it would take 2 hours to do 3 laps in a Ferrari, the reason is because you spend most of the time waiting in lines. You wait in line to have your driver's license checked, then you get in line to sign in at the registration table, wait for the driver's meeting, wait in line to get a stamp saying that you attended the driver's meeting, wait for a ride in the "lead car" (which is a car driven around the racecourse by an instructor showing you the racing line, where to turn, and where to brake), and then wait in line to drive the car that you signed up for. I'm not complaining, but am explaining for anyone wondering why it takes so long (and whether the description on their website is correct).
Each group of cars will have one of each car (for instance, maybe one Lamborghini Murcielago, one Ferrari 488, one Ferrari 458, one Lamborghini Huracan, and one Acura NSX). Each group of cars goes out together instead of equally spacing them around the course. The order that you end up in this group is random. If the slowest driver in the previous group was driving the Ferrari 458 and that's the car you signed up for, you will be driving last in your group. The order is not set by racing experience (which no one asked about) or by whether you signed up to ride in the "lead car" (which I did). During the driver's meeting, there was a clear implication that if you paid to ride in the "lead car", you would be put in the front of the group.
Rides in the "lead car" are not included in the base price, by the way. I decided to do this after arriving at the event and was charged an extra $49.
I signed up to drive a Ferrari 458 and the slowest driver in the previous group was driving that car. This means that I started last in the group and I spent the entire time being held up by the cars in front of me. Even after the instructor let me pass a car, I was still held up by the cars in front. The radios didn't seem to be working very well the day that I visited, so my instructor was having a lot of problems communicating with the other instructors to arrange passing.
The format at Exotics Racing in Las Vegas is different. Each car leaves the pit area separately, and the instructor waits for a gap in the cars on course for you to drive in. This increases safety and also minimizes the chance that you will be held up by other cars in front of you. If you have experience in racing, I would recommend Exotics Racing instead, because of the format different. In fairness, there are differences in the race courses that prevent Xtreme Xperience from using this kind of format. But I probably would not have signed up for the event had I known about this format ahead of time.
Giving gratuities to the instructors is encouraged during the driver's meeting.

Sept 2013 I went for a Breast Cancer Fund raiser. The out door concert area is very nice. Picnic tables are set up, there is a grassy area, and the stage area is raised and decorated nicely. Huge fans blew a gentle mist over the sweaty crowd.
Downfall, no bathrooms outside and you have to go inside to the bar to get mixed drinks. There were some kids walking around the outside area (family event), but they didn't run around.
