This place is worth of stopping. Try to get selfie here with Town hall, and maybe fit one of the nearby churches into same picture. Good starting point to your walk around the city. Two cafés nearby - one under the tower the other on the opposite side of the street.

The city has very unique circle streets and nice history. I recommend going to tourist information to het "walk in Hamina" map and walk the route. Museums are nice, and cafes hard to choose from! On a nice weather seaside is must!

The Hamina bastions often host events, such as Concerts and markets.
Whether there is an event happening or not, you can take a walk around the ramparts. On a warm day, bring a picnic with you.
If you have kids, they will for sure love running about and exploring the bastion (there are few places where you can fall down, so make sure you advice your kids to watch out).

Light colored church is wooden dark inside. I liked the color of the outside when we had wedding here. The stairs gave us troubles when we buried my mother. This it not usually preferred for funerals, but some of the normally used chapels where renovated during that time. The designers had problems how to make air conditioning equipment invisible on the roof..
