Located near the National Capital Region of Delhi, this upcoming district houses numerous multinational companies and as a result, has plenty of tourist-friendly malls, hotels and restaurants. The area's top attraction is the Sheetla Mata temple, a popular pilgrimage site named for the Indian goddess who could dispel small pox; a festival is held there in March and July. For a more rural setting, visit nearby Sohna, which is surrounded by ancient ruins and known for its hot springs.

One of the best places to visit in Gurgaon.
Words simply cannot describe the feeling that one gets on visiting the place.
Fantastic entrance, showsha, nautanki Mahal, culture gully all constitute the lovely place that one calls KoD.
The Zangoora show is a must watch and is truly spectacular in concept and execution.

It is the most famous temple in Gurgaon though it is crowded only during navratras and other festivals. It remains relatively uncrowded most of the rest of the time. However, just like several other temples in the country, the temple isn't as well-maintained as it should have been. The area around the temple is especially in a bad condition. And, since the temple is located in a crowded part of old Gurgaon, there is a lot of traffic and finding parking spaces is a big issue too.

I visited this place around long weekend of Republic day. It was decently crowded with wonderful weather. If you follow the map provided by the owners, it is not difficult to reach there too. It took us 1 hr from Gurgaon to reach there. The miniature world is just too beautiful and my daughter had a good time there. In fact both me and my wife also enjoyed there. Apart from the miniature world, this place has a lot of other activities like badminton, TT, cricket, chess, carrom, snakes and ladder, dart board, kite flying, etc. to keep people engaged. Also, families generally bring their own picnic basket. But the small canteen inside serve very good maggie and bread pakora. Everything is made fresh. Overall a good day of picnic for me and my family. Owners are wonderful and have definitely put in a lot of effort in making this place so wonderful !!
