The museum is a working museum, where a number of voluntary people meet some mornings a week to weave, work in the sowing room, repair and maintain the looms, start up new activities etc. Everything to make it possible to show a living and attractive museum to the public, but also to contribute to the history of this old handicraft, which was later industrialised, so that it can be preserved for the future. During the opening hours the looms are not running because the old looms are very noisy, but all visitors are offered a guided tour where a jacquard power-loom is demonstrated. The museum was established in the years 1993-1995 after Kurt Reindel, the owner of the closed Tommerup Weaving Mill, had donated the power-looms of the mill and their accessories. Most of the looms are from the 1930s when his father Edmund Reindel started the weaving mill. Exhibitions, cafe and shop have been established in the former cow house of Krengerup which used to hold 100 dairy cows. This building was constructed about 1860. The working museum, the Weaving Hall, has been established in a new cow house that used to hold heifers. The restoration and furnishing of the old cow-houses of Krengerup was made possible through a number of funds and donations. The idea for the Skoda Museum Denmark was born Aug. 8, 1998 , were 3 Skoda enthusiasts met up to plan a Skoda museum in Denmark The talk went and quietly the project took form. The following year the first museum in Denmark on Noerregade 33 Glamsbjerg was opened. We quickly realized that the space were too small, and with Mayor Ankjaer Stone Krog's help there was made a contract with Count Rantzau pair of Krengerup Gods for the new location. In August 1999, it was agreed that the museum had to move up to the 2000 season, but the hurricane in December 1999 came across, and the project was put on hold . The old barn, where the cars should stand , was destroyed, but August 3, 2001 the museum could move into the newly renovated barn The museum's cars. 1937 Skoda 418 Popular 1938 Skoda Popular 1949 Skoda 1101 1950 Skoda 1102 Tudor 1953 Skoda 973 R Babeta 1955 Skoda 1200 "sedan" 1958 Skoda 450 Roadster 1959 Skoda Octavia 1963 Skoda 1202 st. car 1964 Skoda 1000 MB 1966 Skoda Octavia Combi 1969 Skoda Octavia Combi 1969 Skoda 1000 MB 1969 Skoda 1000 MBX 1972 Skoda 110/120 1976 Skoda 110 R Coupe 1976 Skoda 130 RS Replica 1976 Skoda S100 1978 Skoda 130 RS 1979 Skoda 105 S 1979 Skoda 1203 Micro bus 1983 Skodaqua 120 GLS 1983 Skoda 120 Garde 1987 Skoda 130 LR Rally 1987 Skoda 1203 Ambulance 1988 Skoda 136 Rapid cabriolet 1988 Skoda Favorit 135 L 1989 Skoda Favorit 136 L Combi 1997 Skoda Felicia LXI
