Aka the Apes Den where the macaques are fed. Incredible views from here of Western side of Gibraltar, Spain and Morocco in the distance. Amusing to watch the monkeys play chase and nearly fall off the railings, amazing balancing skills and grip. Taxi drivers stop here as part of the very popular rock tours based at Casements Square. The first time we visited we walked past without stopping as no 'Apes Den' signs, no apes and no taxis at the time. So the next time we took a guided taxi tour. I was very relieved to see that the fruit is left under shade for the monkeys.

Highest point you can get to by tour van and you can see Africa and Spain. Views were incredible! There was also a monkey feeding station.

I hope this is the correct medium to say how much we enjoyed our rock tour with Adrian Caetano who throughout or tour of the rock was a mine of information delivered in such a pleasant manner. He was so knowledgeable about the Rock itself and had obviously done so much research into the history. I think even the apes were impressed. Thank you Adrian

Well sited in beautifal, scenic location at Europa Point, commemorates the tragic occasion when Polsh leaders and others during WWII perished in an accident

There are interesting shops and historic building along this road, which runs parallel to Main Street, well worth a visit

Thrilling walk so high up and seeing the ground below. Awesome views across the sea and of the rock. Quite a few monkeys hanging around and playing. One of them interested in me filming him, holding onto my jacket and watching me watching him. Baby macaques huddling with their families and playing with each other.

We recently spent the day on the Rock of Gibraltar and tried to see as much as we could of the Amazing Place. There are so many things to see and do on "The Rock" that you really could spend a few days here to take it all in.. One of the places we visited on "The Rock" was Gibraltar: A City Under Siege Exhibition. It was a well done depiction of life on Gibraltar during its turbulent times. The mannequins were so life like and dressed in period costumes. The neat thing was the graffiti that is carved into the walls by British soldiers...Some dating back to 1726.... The City Under Siege Exhibition is definitely worth a short visit....

Both the PM's office and the parliament building (on John Mackintosh Square) are well worth seeing. Do not forget that Gib is self governing, despite being a British overseas territory
