Enjoy walking around and get along with a thousand birds and its habitat. The Park is divided into seven regions that recreate the natural habitats of our birds, complete with indigenous plant life. You can travel from the deep misty jungle of Sumatra to Far East Indonesia and Papua to discover the native birds from these remote regions. Venture to other tropical continents too. See the South American exotics such as the Golden Macaw and the Congo Grey Parrot from the African Savannah. Enter into their real living environment and see how they play with their colony, how they breed, and feel their happiness. You'll love them. Be entertained with our various bird shows and feeding activities and also many special programs made only for you. Take photos from lots of incredible scenes and taste the richness of local Balinese culinary and international cuisine from our fantastic menus in the restaurant.
This was our fourth family visit. The park continues to make incremental improvements and is great for all generations of the family. It has always offered a great day out with well managed and accessible natural exhibits set in a pleasing park like environment - many of the birds are kept in the open or in bigger aviaries ( though some are kept in smaller cupboard cages, which seem to be being phased out). The birds come from a wide background including SE Asia, South America, and South Africa. There are specific areas for, and more focus on, Sumatra, Borneo, Papua, Java and of course Bali. There is a Komodo Dragon exhibit as well. The bird shows and feeding sessions are not gimmicky or exploitative and the staff seem genuinely interested in, and caring for, the birds there. There is a very good cafe onsite which is offers snacks and lunch ( Balinese and international food). Best suggested time to visit is mid morning to avoid the worst of the traffic, catch the shows and then have a later lunch and drinks when it gets hotter.

A very active temple built around a bubbling spring, Pura Tirta Empul is an interesting place to observe Hindu devotees purifying themselves by means of ritual bathing. It is especially recommended to visit on a full moon day, which has special significance in the local religion.
Tirta Empul is relatively busy, especially if you want to join in the cleansing ritual with the natives in the two large pools of natural ware near the entrance gate. There people queue to cleanse different aspects of their life by standing under water spouting from a sequence of stone sculptures. The ritual is optional and was busy and we opted against it and instead took in the large calm of a temple walk. Prayer was ongoing and we took in some of the ceremony as we strolled, being provided with information by our knowledgeable guide. The temple dates back over 1,000 years and is a truly fascinating place to spend some time and soak in a some Balinese culture. Towards the end we reached a further large pool of spring water, which was bubbling continuously at its base. Evidence that the springs remain active. Well worth a visit...

The Campuhan Ridge Walk is arguably the best known Ubud trek and with good reason. The sparse crowds and the aesthetically rich vistas remind one of why people from around the world come to Bali. The trail starts at the historical origin of Ubud, the confluence (or Campuhan) of the Wos Rivers.
Although not often mentioned in travel guides, The Ridge walk was, for us, the most memorable part of exploring Ubud. A long walk through the rice fields, with magnificent sceneries, rice fields, and quiet villages was such a great escape from hustle and bustle of the Ubud city center. The day we have visited wasn't overly hot and in fact, we had a heavy shower along the way which was actually really nice and romantic. We stopped in Karsa cafe for an organic juice and one more spectacular and tranquil view on lotus-filled pond and rice fields. If you feel like it, massage service is available too. Don't forget a good pair of shoes and umbrella! A fantastic day we will remember forever!

Bali Pulina is a coffee plantation, where we can learn how to make the most unique coffee of the world. we can also see other different types of plant and trees like cocoa , coffee, coconut, and also rice terrace paddy as the view that we enjoy during drinking the coffee. Rather that it, we could also play the game as Giant Swing tree, Zip line, and swimming pool right in the middle of jungle. we also available the photo spot for you who like to take you selfie picture.
What can I say you get to taste from lovely coffee for free, you get to have a go at roasting the coffee beans and crushing them and the views are stunning, and the people are amazing.

We kept admiring the view from the hotel we stayed at and managed to find a way down some cobbled steps to follow this trail, its so peaceful and picturesque and you can actually walk into the centre from here, lots of opportunities to take some beautiful photos and meet the locals, always a plus when you can stop and listen to their stories. A lovely stream to follow although the paths can be very narrow at times lots of ducks and other species around, just a lovely leisurely stroll with the camera and if you forget your water there is always Nayoman the coconut man and his wife to stop and have a drink and a chat wonderful man......Wonderful couple..... thoroughly enjoyed our stroll

The mission of The Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary (Monkey Forest Ubud) is conserving the area based on the concept of Tri Hita Karana. Based on the concept of Tri Hita Karana, The Monkey Forest Ubud will be a featured of international tourist destination to create peace and harmony to the visitor.
It was a wonderful gift to be able to get in the sacred monkey forest, to see amazing carved artwork, sculptures and the temple with the monkeys enjoying their freedom and letting us be around them. If you came to Indonesia you must visit the forest. It's a very pleasant thing to do and gives you opportunity to understand a little more of their culture. Get your sport shoes, water bottle & comfortable clothes☝️????

Saraswati temple Kingdom of Ubud is dedicated to honor the Hindu Goddess Saraswati, the goddess of learning, literature and art. This temple is very beautiful and artistic, so many tourists who come to see its charm, but for purposes of worship. Pura Taman Saraswati has a water garden and lotus pond at the center of its attraction as a tourist attraction. This temple is decorated with so many fine carvings and inside there Padmasana shrine located in the northeast, but it also contained bale barong, giant masks, statues of Goddess Saraswati and the statue of the devil Jero Gede Mecaling as high as 3 meters in front of the temple.
We stumbled upon this little gem as we walking back from the rice terraces and spent the next hour filling up the memory on our camera our kids were fascinated and the care taken in the maintenance was outstanding, definitely worth a visit my tip go early as when we were there we had the whole place to ourselves.

Bali's first and only zoological park is a wondrous place where you can learn the behavior of over 500 rare and exotic animals in a lush, tropical environment. A park where you can participate in fascinating animal adventure activities, some of which are unique experiences of their kind in Indonesia.
We have just come back from bali and the highlight of the holiday was giving the elephants a mud bath it was absolutely amazing the guide was very informative and ADELE ( the elephant) was so gentle i would definitely recommend doing it (1)the elephants absolutely love the mud bath (2)as well as the elephants being really friendly so are the staff at the zoo I enjoyed seeing the deer just walking around they come up to you for a pet or you can buy some food and feed them it looked well maintained with construction going on for another part called the savanna for zebra lions ect. But for me and the wife being up close and personal to the brilliant ADELE & ANNA the elephants was definitely our favourite part of the whole holiday

After reading the reviews at Tripadvisor, didn't have great expectations about Bali Safari and Marine Park, but i was pleasantly surprised after my visit there. Had one of the best days of our Bali Trip at this park. With animal shows running through out the day, Bali Safari tour where we saw wide range of animals from very close by, ample places to have meals or quick snacks, petting zoo and so on...we thoroughly enjoyed our day. The park is very well managed and organized, very clean, many information centers. Kids enjoyed a lot and so did we. A must visit place when in Bali.
