The Old Seed House Garden is a 1.8 acre civic garden honouring the legacy of the Dominion Seed House in Georgetown, Ontario. A haven for people and wildlife, it features formal gardens, meandering pathways, a dry stone riverbed leading to a naturalized pond, and a sunken garden where the foundations of the famous mock-Tudor Dominion Seed House building once stood.

Just driving there was a beautiful! You already started to relax. You can park on the street. There is a huge map with different trails to choose from depending on how much time you have. The trail was well marked and well groomed. As you walk, you are surprised to see a pond or a small lake with ducks. Further down, you realize that you are on top of an escarpment and can see far away the beautiful rolling hills. There huge rocks along the side of the trails. The whole experience was fun!

Come horseback riding on our wooded trails, take lessons with our trained and experienced staff or simply enjoy the grounds and have a picnic. We have Kid's Camps every summer with PD Day Camp throughout the year. Have your company party or family gathering with us and enjoy food prepared and served from our kitchen in this rustic ranch setting. See you on the trail
I go to Fallbrook Ranch every year for a trail ride and it’s been great each time. If you’re looking to try something new, get outside, go on a date, or just relax in nature - it’s definitely worth checking out. The staff is also very friendly and helpful especially if it’s your first time. The beginner rides require no skill at all, you just get on and the horses basically follow each other.

For over 25 years the Georgetown Farmers Market has offered an incredible selection of farm-fresh, never-refrigerated, warm-from-the-fields Ontario produce from over 45 local vendors. Surrounded by quaint independent shops on a picturesque Main Street the Market runs Saturday mornings from June - October and is located in the heart of Downtown Georgetown at Main & Mill Streets.
We have been coming to this farmers market for 10 years and have seen it grown and grow. If you come more than a couple of times, the vendors recognize you. Everyone is friendly and interested to share information about their products. Once a month, the market's Chef is there to make samples with the local foods and to share recipes - I love this! Buskers abound - many are youth, which is lovely. The shops are open - be sure to check out Mill Street Cheese Shop - I dare you to leave without buying anything! And don't forget Dini's for gifts! And at the market you can buy anything from fresh produce, local cheeses, savoury pies from the Pie Guyz, gorgeously scented organic products from Purely Unique, fresh honey, baked goods, fruits and veggies, meats, and so much more. It is worth a trip out! We usually start with a coffee at the Silvercreek Coffee Shop, get a fresh peameal sandwich from a food stall, and walk and shop. I've started taking a portable shopping basket with me this year as we buy so much! You can't go wrong - super worth a trip to go!!!
