If you are looking for high quality musical theatre in the OC, then you must make your way to the GEM Theatre in Garden Grove. The productions are always top rate, from direction, choreography, and design work, to the amazingly talented actors showcased in the plays. You’ll always walk away with a smile on your face and a song in your heart. Operated by award-winning One More Productions, this community theatre enterprise is simply outstanding. Just saw “Hello Dolly!”, and the recently opened “The Producers”. Wow! I’m a seasoned theatre professional, so believe me, this is a great shout-out from one who knows. Auditions are held for all productions, but the competition for roles is tough! Success breeds popularity, and the GEM is constantly playing to sold-out houses. Join the fun!

When the Diocese of Orange purchased the church and its 34-acre complex in 2012, Catholic leaders committed to respect the famous site’s legacy while transforming the unique building and grounds into the vibrant new heart of worship for the 1.3-million Catholics living in Orange County. The Christ Cathedral campus is a landmark beacon and growing spiritual center for the Christian faithful in Orange County and is filled with a collection of architecturally significant buildings. The buildings located on the 34-acre campus total almost 320,000 square feet. Buildings include the; Christ Cathedral, Arboretum, Large and Small Galleries, Tower of Hope, Crean Tower, Diocese of Orange Pastoral Center, and Cathedral Cultural Center. The campus also has a serene cemetery, the Cathedral Memorial Gardens.

This won't cost you a dime, but your time...and it will be well spent! This place is beautiful, and its so refreshing to see all the nationalities represented here. The weather was amazing, we took some wonderful pictures, and it just felt good to be there.... I kept one of the bulletins from mass that was in at least 3 languages.... loved, it and it'as must go

This is now Christ Cathedral. We did visit when Robert Schuller Snr. was the Senior Minister there. Wonderful Ministry.
