Located at Milepost 213 on the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Spent the day driving in and out of the fog on the BRP. Still we saw the occasional vista and lots of wildlife, deer, turkeys, hawks, and cows in the road on a foggy corner. Early in the afternoon it was nice to stop here for a leg stretch and some wonderful bluegrass music in the standalone building. Up close and personal with the eight or nine players as they told the stories about the music they played and themselves. The music center has a very nice museum area with the history of the banjo and bluegrass. Well worth the time to stop.

Bluegrass concerts here every Friday evening. Only $5 to hear some of the best bluegrass musicians. We saw Cane Mill Road. They were fantastic.
