it was very cold and windy when we visited here. We saw a movie at the AMC Theaters and had delicious dinner at the Copper Canyon Grill Restaurant. Thoroughly enjoyed both places.
Other attractions/places to visit here: Shops like Target and Dick's, smaller shops, restaurants, man-made lake, etc.
We'll definitely visit here again when the weather becomes warmer: eat at other restaurants, shop, and just walk around the lake.

It's really too bad. Very comfortable seating with the recliner seats. The problem is that the staff is so incompetent and rude that I'll never go back there. I asked for tickets for a particular movie, and they gave me tickets for a different movie. When I brought it to their attention they didn't even apologize. They acted like I was trying to rip THEM off! They finally gave me my money back, but I never got to see my movie. Another time I asked for a ticket for a show at one particular time but they gave me a ticket for a different time that the movie was showing. What are they smoking?

It is only opened from Thursdays to Saturdays. They are closed for the other days of the week.
My favorites are the store that sells pretzels and the other one that sells nuts, candies and chocolates. The pretzels are freshly baked at the store. I like most their plain pretzels and the one with sausage and cheese that cost $3 each. This store only takes CASH while the candy/nut store accepts major credit cards.
Some stores sell fried chicken, meats, vegetables and fruits, furnitures, etc. There is a small restaurant inside the building that serves American dishes.
Highly recommended to visit if you're in the area.

This site preserves an early 20th century farm, with home, barn, and out-buildings. There are chickens, goats and sometimes pigs in the barn/coop areas, as well as displays of old farming equipment and a small "hay play" place for kids. There a few signs explaining the history of different buildings, the outsides of which are accessible at all times, but the inside of the home is only open certain days. There is a demonstration garden and a gorgeous dahlia garden in the fall. The park has 450+ acres, and there are numerous trails which they usually mow in the summer when the grass is high (but still be mindful of ticks). You can do a loop trail in 20 minutes or take a longer route. Check their calendar--on certain weekends there are special days with hay rides, corn maze, potato digging, holiday open house, etc.

A family farm providing good, green fun and local produce for over 60 years. We offer 300 acres of pick-your-own fruits and vegetables, a Farm Market, and special events throughout the year. At our annual Pumpkin Festival enjoy a hayride, jump in the hayloft, swoosh down the giant slides, visit barnyard buddies, play the rubber duckie derby, and explore the corn maze! Enjoy beautiful fall foliage, live music, hand dipped caramel apples, and lots more!
My family has been coming to Butler's to pick berries since the 1990s. It was our favorite farm to pick berries, starting the season with strawberries and ending it with raspberries. Last year we've missed the season. When we finally were back this year we were shocked to learn about the $3 admission fee per person. I was so upset with the new policy that we decided to turn around and drive to another farm. Other people seem to be also shocked but quite a few paid the fee. I understand that the berry picking has become very popular in the last few years. I doubt that in the long run this policy will bring extra income to the farm. Last year, the year when the fee was introduced, may not be a good indicator -- people showed up as they used to and they paid. Many won't be back. Fewer and fewer customers will be back. I WILL NOT BE BACK.

Great clean fun place to visit for kids to get their swim on. Decent baby pool with fun slides. Lounge chairs all around for you to sit. And so much shade...

There is lots of playground equipment, but the highlight is the train ride. You may have to wait, but it's worth it. The playground is divided into different areas for different age groups. The only problem with the park is that it is so good that it is very crowded, especially on weekends. Enjoy!

Needwood has a trail that goes all way into DC. I recently walked 13 miles in one morning. the path is paved and in very good shape. The woods and stream are very pretty. Even saw deer along the trail. There are several places where you have to cross streets so be careful. Also no bathrooms along the trail, we had to detour off to fast food restaurant to use the facilities.
They also have boating there, we did not try this. The Go Ape Zipline is fun also.

The Field of Screams Maryland in Olney is the largest and most popular multi-haunt in Maryland with 4 awesome haunts in one location!! A quick car ride to 4 haunts - what's not to love?!! 30 min walk on the TRAIL OF TERROR or HAUNTED TRAIL and a crazy tour of the new SLAUGHTER FACTORY if you can handle it! An amazing hayride to die for!! , Field of Screams Maryland is 40+ acres of thrills. We have great food and big bonfires to hang out around while you eat fried Oreos, fried Twinkies, funnel cakes and the best hot chocolate around! Our haunt is sick and our location is sick!!
I go to Field of Screams every year with a group of friend and am never disappointed. Where the hay ride and zombie apocalypse is not scary, they are still a good time when your with friends. What keeps us comming back year after year...MoreThank you! Please review us on Facebook, Yelp, and Google if you can! We would really appreciate it! :)
