I enjoyed watching the river rush by while walking at sunset. It's a very peaceful park, with a nice trail for a leisurely walk or to get your steps in for your daily goals.

What a one of many picturesque bridges along this Delaware canal where miles tower barges. So wonderful that the bridges are well preserved and one can drive over them ( cautiously allowing room for other car to pass) or walk or bike over them. This bridge connects Uhlerstown, Pennsylvania ( Bucks County) to Frenchtown, NJ a charming town with cafes, art gallery and period homes. There are benches along the river to sit and have a picnic.

A great place to shop! It is a true general store. From loose candies to fishing lures to gifts for all ages to organic foods. Whatever you are looking for you can probably find it there. Not only that but Hannah and Ben,the owners, are very accommodating and love to talk about the store and the town. If you're in Frenchtown don't miss a trip to the Sunbeam General Store.
