This place is very busy, great for young kids however bc there is a kid zone, plenty of affordable food options, and plenty of space for to walk around. Only negative i have is they do have a nursing mothers room... it’s far from most things, stuffed in part of the bathroom, and REALLY hot and doesn’t have the game playing on the monitors. I would prefer privacy but it’s too uncomfortable in there to use. The gift shop is nice and webkinz Wednesday are really awesome for young kids, really keeps them entertained and about the only night we go.

The ACPL has an excellent collection of Abe Lincoln artifacts, one of the best genealogy departments in the US (very helpful staff), outstanding children’s and young adult departments. The art gallery always has a unique exhibit and the theatre is great too!
I take my students on a regular basis and it is one of my favorite places in FW!

Attended the Michael Carbonaro show on Sep 15. The Embassy is amazing. We were in the balcony close to the front and felt like we were on top of the stage. Restroom's are supper close in balcony. The staff was very helpful. Love the art work. Gem for Fort Wayne.

We took the grandkids to see Santa and the Reindeer. As always we love the Botanical Garden. The Santa was amazing. Our timing was terrible. Literally as we were entering the garden, Santa was leaving the garden for a break. H did stop to speak with the kids!!!!! His break was 34 minutes LONG - OMG. After he returned the line went. The reindeer were very cool and the kids loved them.

We took our granddaughter to the Indiana Music Education Association concert on January 11-12 and has pleasantly surprised by the facilities at the GWCC. The large, glass-panel window walls on the south entrance lets the sunlight shine in and creates a nice ambiance.

Lakeside park is absolutely beautiful in the spring. The city of Fort Wayne does a great job of keeping it clean and majestic all summer long. Great for wedding pics.

Science Central offers hands-on science education and fun for visitors of all ages. Zoom down a 2-story slide, see a mastodon found here in Allen County, talk a walk on the moon, take part in a live science demonstration and much more!
Interactive and user friendly, this has something for all ages and all interests. During the school year, they have wonderful programs for kids on snow days.

I am very glad the owner's refurbished this. And they have opened it up to the public as an art gallery by day and their home after closing time. We really enjoyed the various art pieces and toured all three floors. The architecture of the beams on the 3rd floor is amazing. I also liked the outdoor patio on the 3rd floor which was still nestled in under a tall tree. We actually talked with the owner about their restoration and intent with the art gallery and enjoyed her insight. Of note there are only stairs to the upper floors - no elevator.

I was in town for a wedding and had seen this church driving by. It was within walking distance from my hotel so a group of us decided to stop for the service before heading back home. I am a Christian though not of the catholic faith. I enjoyed the spiritual message as well as the pure beauty of the church.
It is gorgeous with its stained glass windows and carved wood works. Definitely worth a visit. If you are not catholic they wish that you do not participate in the communion. There are brochures if you wanted to give yourself a self guided tour to learn the history of the church and the many points of interest.
