We had a wonderful time at this museum...it covered the Native American people, pioneer & settlers as well as a great section on the prison. The curator was wonderful and gave us a first rate tour. What a wonderful afternoon! We also went on to see the old Courthouse....

The Windmill Winery

Don't trust the GPS!!! Great place in the middle of nowhere. We visited after dark in an area we know nothing about the GPS was taking us in circle's at the end but luckily they had a giant bonfire going and I could find it from there. We sat for some live music and my girlfriend tried some of the wines and the lady at the counter was very helpful with the wines of their area. The hand kept coming around and stoking the fires and making sure everyone was ok and even saved a few ladies from a something scampering across the ground. This place is awesome and provided a wonderful night!

St. Anthony's Greek Orthodox Monastery

Reviewed By PatN661 - Colorado Springs, United States

This monastery is in the middle of the AZ desert and is the most beautiful and serene place I've visited in many years. There are several buildings and chapels, each unique including interesting icons of this religion. The grounds are an amazing combination of palm trees, cactus, and many other plants as well as beautiful fountains and walkways. The self-guided tours give you plenty of time to stroll through this beautiful place. Note that women and men have clothing guidelines that are strictly followed. See their website before visiting.
