A lovely little spot for quite a nice champagne. We tasted and then purchased a 2015 vintage blanc de noirs. It felt like being in someone’s house. It was slightly awkward being just two of us for the tasting but of course a little champagne relieves the tension. In nicer weather it would be fun to sit outside.

Among stainless still vats, oak barrels, chalky cellars and elegant Champagne, live a sensory experience!
My wife and I went to Boizel for a guide tour and Leire was very pleasant, honest and lazyless explaining everything, starting from the family history, the beginning an so far. In Brasil we do not have this champagne. We tried 3 the classic, the rose and vintage. All very good. We bought some. Thank you very much for the outstanding tour.

Installed in Epernay, a step away from the Avenue de champagne, The Georges Cartier champagne House offers delightful wines.Sticking to its philosophy, the House chooses the best cru villages to make balanced and accessible wines.Tour of the cellars:A video on the making-process, the tour of the 18th century cellars, and a tasting of Georges Cartier champagne.Plus ancient wine machines and an authentic 1903 Darcq press unit.
Only three grape varieties are allowed in genuine champagne -- pinot noir, pinor meunier and chadonnay. An all-chardonnay wine is called "blanc de blanc" or "white of white." Ponot noir is a red grape. Pinot noir and chardonnay are the main chanpagne varieties. The Georges Cartier cellers are enjoyable, in particular the tour of the caves, as the cellars are called. You will be given a variety of champagnes to taste. Please bear in mind that the main brands are now owned by multinational .corporations and the independent houses often have a hard time being noticed. If you do not have much experience in tasting champagne, you may find your tasting a little surprising..

They had two tasting options. Three coupes for either 18€ or 20€ depending on the champagnes which was great deal. I liked that they did a low dosage so their champagnes were not cloyingly sweet. Their rosé was very nice which a deep red color. Unique and tasty. Their courtyard seating was nice even in the wet weather. Tables were covered and had heat lamps. Friendly service. Very nice.

Great service and local tips, short winery tours recommended. Champagne tasting daily. The only bike rental in town, as far as I could find, and rode one of their functional, low end, mountain bikes around the Tour de France social ride course.

My wife and I booked a tour that included tastings. We were the only 2 people so it was very personal and very informative. The guide was so nice and helpful, she even offered tastings of the vintage champagnes which were delicious and we got a few bottles. Definitely worth a visit!

This street has a quality like no other. Lines with famous Champagne houses and you can’t fail to be impressed. Some offer tours and some you can simply site in their gardens and enjoy some Champagne. However you can just as good Champagne out in the villages with the smaller producers. Shame that their isn’t a coffee house to relax rather than downing Champagne all the time.

In 1871 Eugène Mercier began an innovative project of digging his Champagne cellars: “Count in kilometers and not in meters” he told the architects. A few years later, visitors armed with curiosity were inspired by the discovery of no less than 18 kilometers of impressive underground tunnels! Come along yourself to discover the Maison Mercier onboard the little train and travel through part of our cellars!
Brilliant tour around the underground caves on train, audio guide is clear, staff are great and know their stuff, very well priced shop.

I guess when you are in Epernay you have to visit at least one champagne house so on our B&B owners recommendation we came here. I was pleasantly surprised. When we got there I think we were the only people there and we booked a tour. We had our own personal tour guide. I found it genuinely interesting and I’m not a wine or champagne drinker. The tunnels and volts are impressive and the tour ends with a look at the production line. There is a museum on the main level and you can take a hike to the top of the tower if you cant manage the 170 odd steps. Worth the money and worth a visit
