Exploration is encouraged at this museum.
From the outside it doesn't look like much, but it was so much fun! So much to do for the little ones (we had a 3yo, 5yo, and 9yo with us), we stayed for hours and they were sad to leave. A big favorite was the combine simulator, and another was the Big-esque step piano. They even have a nice-sized outdoor play area in the back. We will definitely return in the summer when the sprinklers are on.
Great way to spend the day!

We were very impressed with the lay-out and art. A couple of Picassos, Miro, and other modern masters (not our style but very good) Many Haiti paintings. Five Grant Wood with some memorabilia from Grant Wood's sister, nice old world 15th century Dutch, section on Frank Lloyd Wright, a Moran, a Bierstadt, a Russell.

The Iowa 80 Trucking Museum was a dream of Iowa 80 Truckstop founder Bill Moon. His love for trucks and the trucking industry laid the foundation for this museum. Over 60 vintage trucks are on display, as well as antique signs and gas pumps. The museum also features the REO Theatre where visitors can enjoy watching films about trucks and trucking.

No More Mr. Clean......
My buddy and I attended a concert by the Alice Cooper Group on Tuesday, May 13, 2018. The Taxslayer Center is a great venue for concerts. There really are no bad seats! The sound system is crisp snd clear, too. It has good access and a person can move quickly to the exits once sn event is finished. The restrooms are clean, too. It was a great show in a great venue!

We were just passing through and only stayed for one night. It wasn't far from the interstate, nice quiet area. The front office was quiet and helpful. Parking our RV was easy, back in site. There was lots of grassy area with dog walking access. We were off season, so the grounds were quiet. Large heated restrooms, though I wasn't comfortable showering in them when you can't lock the door (no code access device either). Otherwise, clean and nice. Easy in, easy out.

Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, America's largest government-owned arsenal is located on a 946-acre island in the Mississippi River.
This is where my family is buried, as all have served since the Civil War. This will be my eternal resting place too someday.
My grandfather, Waldo Goetsch, was it's Superintendent. There is a beautiful Confederate Cemetary to honor the PWO's who died here in captivity. We are one Nation under God, indivisible...

This park and conservatory is an interesting place year round and provides some interesting botanical exhibits. Regardless of the season, there is almost always a flowering plant. The place is great for weddings and receptions, and the staff is easy to work with!

We had a little bit of time to kill on our way home so we stopped. They have lots of gift ideas. One part of the store (the largest part) is dedicated strictly to truckers. I think they have everything a trucker would need for...MoreWe are glad you were able to stop and shop! We do try to have something for everyone and then some. Stop and see us again if you are in the area. We look forward to serving you again soon!

Cheap, clean and comfortable hotel. Right on the river. Rooms were spacious, staff was clueless and just simple there. Casino was average, smokey, filled with old people. Cheap rooms, and just an average place over all. I would recommend when in town.

Helium Trampoline Park is a family fun center providing a rare combination of attractions, food, fun and customer service in the Quad Cities area. We don’t just offer 100 interconnected trampolines -- we also offer Dodgeball, Basketball, AIRobics, a Gladiator Joust Beam, Jump Towers, an Air Bag, a Laser Maze, a Hurricane Simulator, and more. Stop by today or contact us for more information!
We needed a place to blow off some energy during our visit to Davenport. Helium was the perfect place for everyone. It was large enough to put some space between our 4-year-old to the teens. I recommend filling out the waiver online before arriving. You need to wear their socks on the trampolines. I would also recommend a locker, only $3 but since you cannot see the open storage shelves from the trampolines, $3 was a bargain. The food was good, they make the pizza to order. Place your order about 15 minutes before your jump time is over. The young staff was friendly, we will definitely stop in next time we are in town.
