Freedom Charters in Eden has something for everyone. Whale Watching, Reef Game and King Fishing. Eden is one of the few places in the world that the humpback whales stop and feed making it one of Australia's best whale watching destinations. 12 passengers for excellent viewing. 3 hour tours with homemade morning tea and free entry to the Sapphire Coast Marine Discovery Centre. A lovrly boardwalk right next to the beach for either walking or riding your bike. Also is close to Reflections Caravan Park which in my opinion is the best CP in Eden.

A lovely walk which I believe has only just been developed. It has numerous lookouts which overlook various hidden bays. The vegetation and wildlife are lovely and this is an easy walk for a family. Due to steps I don't advise prams or wheelchairs. The information posts are not yet up but I'd love to re-do the walk when they are.

A simple walk that concludes with 50 strong stairs if you want to to the beach. Great spot to see whales (there were 6+ on the day we went)

We were immediately welcomed by the store's manager/ owner. We noticed he was helpful to all who entered his shop, but wasn't hovering. A very cheerful disposition. The shop had a lovely array of collectables, at reasonable prices. Yes, we did purchase a couple of items.

We visited the museum on a windy, cooler day and it was the perfect experience for bad beach weather! Adults and kids alike will be entertained for a couple of hours here, even with covid restrictions closing some minor sections & viewing telescopes. The museum is well set out, despite being small, and the gift shop is well organised. Hubby and I read every single signboard and these gave us such a deeper understanding of the whaling industry in Eden and of the local locations we had visited the previous day. Excellent covid-safe provisions and clean public toilets. Views from the top floor and outside are beautiful.
