Low entry charges, proper parking arrangements, a nice toy train for kids, good paddle boating facilities on an artificial lake, an island park and lots of ducks and other birds make it a good respite anytime in the day. The icing on the cake is the multi-cuisine restaurant which is at the center of the park with the lake all around and serves amazing food. Though it is possibly slightly heavy on the pocket it is worth every rupee. We were delighted when they baked a yummy black forest cake in 45 minutes notice and we got to celebrate my wife's birthday in a really memorable way.

Sunset Beach at Nani Daman was highly commercialized with shops, hawkers and tents having fast food and liquors giving no importance for cleanliness Could not enjoy sunset here due to lack of serenity and untidy environment. The authorities must give top priority for cleanliness for tourist attraction and thereby the development of Daman

The location is in Moti Daman, and is easily accessible. Inside the fort area, are the churches and then the fort. The view from the near the light house is good and scenic.

I'm a Japanese living and travelling a lot in India.
The first visit to the union territory of Daman and Diu.
A nice experience of visiting this place as the combination of history, construction, ocean, fisherman, and other local staff.
I enjoyed it.
Thank you very much.

The tourism Daman board suggest that the monastery was a great seat of theological learning once upon a time, but it declined gradually.
Today all you have are few remaining ramparts of the glorious past. Do drop in when visiting the fort. The glimpse of the past touches quite a few souls.
