Though Mumbai can feel chaotic and crowded, there are peaceful moments to be found here. Nibble a paper cone of bhelpuri while you stroll the sands of Chowpatty Beach. Then, take a short walk to Mani Bhavan, where Mahatma Gandhi once lived, strategized, and was ultimately arrested. The markets are spirited places to bargain for spices or souvenirs. Take a guided tour of Dharavi – made famous by "Slumdog Millionaire" – for an eye-opening glimpse into what Mumbai life is like for nearly a million people.

My Google Review # 000157. Thakur Mall, owned by Thakur Group, is located in Mira-Bhayendar vicinity, though they address it as being in Dahisar. To reach here from Mumbai end, you need to cross the toll plaza, so technically this one is in Mira Road. The mall's parking and toilets are not well maintained, but, doable, as per the quality of crowd seen flocking here, who do not seem to have much expectations on hygiene. Prime brands seen here are Decathlon, Big Bazaar, Hamleys, Reliance Digital, Central, Boat House Restaurant, McDonalds, INOX etc. Parking is chargeable @ INR 40 per entry, no time limit defined. ATM services available are of Kotak Mahindra Bank outside the mall, at its exit gate. Date of Experience : December 2019.
