Da Nang is laid-back and friendly, maybe because everyone you meet has just finished an amazing meal. Culinary tours are a hugely popular way to experience literal local flavor. After you’ve stuffed yourself with bold noodle soups and savory street foods, walk it off by exploring the limestone caves and Buddhist grottos of the Marble Mountains.

We stayed at a beachfront hotel and loved the view from the bar across to the beautiful beach and the mountainous backdrop. My husband had a go at surfing and experienced gentle waves ideal for learning. It was suitable once past the close to shore break to kayak or paddle board.

A short taxi ride away from the main beach area hotels in Da Nang, is this large and beautiful statue, temple and pagoda overlooking the ocean. It was one of the highlights of my recent visit to this area. Highly recommended. Also very nice and quieter at night.

Art in Paradise Danang is the first 3D Trick Art Museum in Danang and the largest one in Viet Nam. Come to the museum, you will be suprised by hundreds of 3D art works. They were all drawn and painted by hand that used three-dimensional and scientific method combinations to make the paintings look realistic and live, and you can be part of them. It's not just an art, but a paradise. You will have a lot of happy memories with your family and friends here. Love!
The first thing you do is to take off your shoes, so I suggest to wear some kind of socks on your feet. Then the Tour begins and you will be amazed at the 3D art. You will recognize many of the Places and Themes throughout the Museum. There are foot prints on the floor so you can take the best photo of the Art being displayed. Do NOT Rush and take your time to visit the many unique paintings. From King Kong to Kermit the Frog; Spider Man to Marilyn Monroe; and other Landmarks like Trevi’s Fountain in Rome to the Rialto Bridge in Venice. One of my favorites is being under a swimming pool and looking up at the water. So unique.

The Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture is one of the first museums built in Vietnam by the French. The main building was constructed in 1915. It evokes some motifs of French colonial architecture in the early twentieth century and resembles the image of the Champa temples - towers in Central Viet Nam. Visitors will have the opportunity to contemplate more than 400 artifacts on display, including National Treasures and others representing the masterpieces of Champa sculpture in ten centuries (from 5th to 15th). The artifacts were made in a variety of materials, such as sandstone, terracotta, and metal. Grounded in various themes from fertility symbols, deities, mythical animals and architectural decoration from the Hindu and Buddhist, they express the features of cultural and religious values of the Champa people over many generations. The Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture is a must-see destination for visitors wishing to discover the culture and heritage of Central Viet Nam.
Prior to any visit to Vietnam, it is fundamental to learn a little bit about the "Champa" culture, as it is quite unknown to most of us in Western countries. The "Champa" was an "Indianised" civilization, within the "Greater India", that flourished, between 192 AD up to around 1700 AD, along the coasts of today's Central and Southern Vietnam. Artistically, it adopted the style seen in many Indian rock-cut temples, sandstone sculptures and reliefs. The "Da Nang Museum of Cham Sculpture" houses, since 1919, the world's largest Cham collection, with sculptures and objects found in Da Nang, Quâng Nam, My Son, Trà Kiêu, Dông Duong, Tháp Mam, Quâng Tri, Quâng Ngai, Quâng Binh, Binh Dinh and Kon Tum, among other archaeological sites in Vietnam. The "Champa" legacy consists mainly of sandstone sculptures, reliefs and brick buildings, expressing themes and functions connected to their religious life, which synthetizes elements of Hinduism, Buddhism and indigenous cults. As the only museum in the World exclusively dedicated to the "Champa" era, it is absolutely unmissable at any visit to Da Nang, principally after its recent renovation! Enjoy!

For me its a must do activity in Da Nang. This trip gives you great insights about how ancient people in Vietnam use to live and pray. Marble mountain have some the most beautiful statues and caves and the most amazing part was the hiking and tor reach summit which goes through some very narrow parts and holes and you have to extremely careful. It was too fun climbing the summit. Its worth a place to visit once and try hiking till summit. Summit give beautiful bird eye view of the Da Nang City
