You've seen this museum before since it is one of the most photographed locations in all of New Jersey. Great museum with a whole historical village behind it. Four stories to explore in the museum itself and then a great WWI exhibit in the administrative building and then some other structures: school house, log cabin, stone sorter, storage barn, quarry office and more. We had a great day! Visited museum for half a day...walked into town for lunch..and came back to explore the rest. Staff friendly. Will be closed for 2 weeks at end of September to ready the site for a Halloween Spooky Event. Great venue for weddings. Just went there for one a week ago, and the setting was just beautiful.

It can be hit as heck everywhere else but the trail with overhanging trees and leaves creates a nice cool trail to walk, jog or bike ride along. Added benefit is all the little gnome homes that people have left as well as geocaching. Beautiful area to walk along and a great view and story if you make it to the bridge where the train derailed. There are other plaques along the way that have bits of history.
Parking i use is in high bridge directly across from entrance. It can get crowded as it's a popular place to be

My daughter and I attended dinner and a show at 2:30. We both had the prime rib and weren't disappointed,it was tender and cooked to perfection. You receive a generous amount of food and it was all delicious. The dessert buffet was sooooo tasty...yum! There isn't...MoreWe are happy to hear you and your daughter enjoyed your visit to Hunterdon Hills Playhouse! Thank you for this wonderful review, and we hope to see you back for another visit soon.

Easy trails alongside a picturesque reservoir. Remember to use your tick spray since it is heavily wooded. Pretty every season of the year. Great place to walk the dogs, but please, please, please remember that it is carry in/carry out. Bring your doggie bags.

This woodland State Park offers a variety of hiking trails, picnic areas with grills, reserved campsites, and even has an observatory that was built by the NJ Astronomical Association. There are several entrances to this park from 513. We drove through the park today and made a few stops to walk the trails with the dog.

Skydive Jersey is located in Pittstown, NJ at the historic Alexandria Air Field and serves the New Jersey, New York, and Philadelphia areas. We specialize in tandem skydiving, meaning that each student is strapped to an experienced instructor for the duration of the jump. This is especially comforting for first-time jumpers as it minimizes the student's responsibility, allowing them to relax and simply enjoy the experience. Come see the beautiful NJ countryside from a true bird's eye view and experience the thrill of a lifetime at Skydive Jersey!
Went skydiving here for the first time (I am 71 and jumped with my 28 yr old son.) Wonderful and fun experience. I'm glad I did this finally! Muffy, my instructor, was great, very professional and he took great video and pictures. Efficient organization, well kept grounds, great set-up. We were cancelled a few times for weather and one should plan on staying 2-3 hours depending on time of year, weather, number of people jumping before you. Waiting area is clean and comfortable. Minor point: We were very exhilerated after the jump and both signed up for 2nd jump at a discounted price with a $25 deposit. On reflection, I decided not to jump again but owner would not apply $25 to my son's account nor refund it.

We arrived 15 minutes prior to closing time on a spring Sunday. What a fast and fascinating tour!
First floor hadhuge colorful Wengenroth paintings of northwest NewJersey streams. Second floor had a room of interesting ceramics. A special exhibit called Constructions included some fascinating towers. My favorite was by Susan Myer, glowing in the sunlight of a nearby window.
The highlight of the museum for me was an amazing painting in the third floor Student Art exhibit. A 12th grader named Abigail Rugg did a large oil painting entitled "Sister" that would rival an old Dutch Master. Amazing -- we hope to see more of her work in the future!
On top of all this, the lilacs were blooming in the dooryard!

Lake Solitude empties into a man made dam structure that is unique and beautiful. One can hike down to the base of the waterfall and hike along the river. The ruins of an old munitions iron forge are still there. Not to be missed when visiting the nearby charming town of Clinton.

I didn't find out about Surf's Up until mid July and I wish I found out earlier! Since then I've rented from them about 5 times. They are very reasonably priced, extremely informative, and all around nice people. They even carry everything down to the water for you. Best people to rent kayaks and paddle boards from!

A beautiful winery. A lovely place to spend a relaxing afternoon. Especially if the weather is nice. Avery nice tasting room with plenty of room. Excellent wines & servers and you can bring your own food. They have many outside tables with live music on Saturday & Sunday and a really cool greenhouse for special occasions. We would recommend their Gewertzimweiner and Pino Noir wines.
