One of my most enjoyable trekking experience. Beautiful scenery, cool weather. Learned a lot from my Karen guide, Boon, who taught us on medicinal herbs from the nature even showed us how to make shampoo from the forest

Pretty waterfalls and park area. We stayed about 30 minutes and hiked around and very near the falls. Easy walk. If you want to stay longer there is food and drink available. Restrooms too.

A friend took me up to the hiking trail, and you have to take the trail with a local guide, essentially waiting in line for the next guide to show up and take you. It was a moderate hike, and paused a while for my friend who wasn't as fit, but wasn't anything most people who are used to hiking can't handle. Was surprisingly much cooler than the city, but we were there in December so it was a nice change. Great views at the overlook and plenty of chances to take pictures, if you're willing to wait a little while for people to clear out a little. If you've never been on the trail, would highly recommend it for views you wouldn't usually see from Chiang Mai.

This is definitely the highlight of my trip to Doi Inthanon National Park. Our drive up have to pass thru 2 military check points, but the officers are friendly and check our tickets. After visiting the highest peak nature park, these Chedi is our next stop. After we parked, one come to a landing point where the history of the place is written in Thai, i can't find any English signage. One can decide to go right or left first, i noticed most people will go right first, up the escalator to the base of the Chedi, and walk up a few stairs. Inside the Chedi are stunning Buddhists murals on the walls, in front of the buddha statues are sign informing visitors about the relic stored inside them. Outside the chedi there is a beautiful garden with springs, one can sit there and look down on the Clouds covered valley. With the 2 Chedi, the occassional clouds, it look very Enchanting !
