Very nice views and walking trails - well maintained and easy to navigate. Easy to park and get out for a easy walk - trail is well marked and has mile markers in 1/10 - so you can go as far or little as you like.

Best outdoor enjoyment Ever! 4 generations of our family from age 9 took the 3 hour kayaking tour around a scenic lake filled with history, beauty, and wildlife. The relaxing adventure was the perfect mix of excercise, fun, and excitement. Chesterfield parks & recs staff make it safe & informative for every age. Three beautiful and awesome guides led us around these wetlands with expertise and charm. No parking worries, easy instructions, great value, can't wait to return. This fun is a must do again & again. Thank you Chesterfield and Ladies of the Park!!!????

We live close by and have been there several times, either as a family and with organizations. They have a lot to offer everyone. They offer birthday packages as well as lessons. It seems like they are always adding something new to offer visitors.

I've been to this park many times. Its actually part of a park. You take the railroad ties down where it side winds along the river. There are a few benches along the trail where you can rest. We bring our dogs to this location and they get great exercise. Round trip less than 2 miles but the trail takes you along various terrain from trail along the forest, alongside the river, through the boardwalk on the marsh and back up towards the start point. Nice walk. Beware of running in the fall since the leaves cover the roots of the trees. I rolled my ankle bad.

Stopped by with friends on a sunny Saturday afternoon. The weather was great so we decided to sit outside to sip some wine and enjoy a light lunch. The wines were good and the food was delicious. Very helpful and attentive staff. It was a very fun relaxing experience. Will definitely come back
