Beautiful monastery with folk speaking Hindi and Tibetan. There are many monasteries. Cross border pollution exists. People used to live in natural ice. Now they live in pleasant pheasant mountains. Visitors to the monasteries must be strong. Its good not to visit.

In dilemma if we should skip as we had to enter the Bandipur forest due to time restriction. But we would have missed it as the view from the temple is simply awesome. one can approach by own transport until the hill entry gate where parking facility is provided. Its a no-plastic zone strictly. From there tickets for the transport by state government bus up the hill to the temple should be purchased. Continuosly buses ply back and forth to this checkpoint (which has a time restriction too!) Had visited in the noon. Thought it might be very warm but to our surprise the temple and surrounding area is cool and very breezy. Thourougly enjoyed the landscapes. A must visit for nature lovers but plan your visit accordingly due to the time restrictions in the forest area

Well organised tour through the tracks in the park keeping a lookout for wild elephants, bison, peacocks, owls, bears, boar and other birdlife. Didn’t see any tigers - this time. The “tamed” elephants are a bit sad. Better seeing and appreciating the wild ones.

I went to BRT Wildlife Sanctuary. A number of endangered species reside here along with a large avian population. This abundance of wildlife can be enjoyed through jeep safaris and elephant rides available here. This forest reserve is also known for its wild elephants, gaurs, chital, sambhar, barking deer, four-horned antelope. It is great place to go.

A great place to drive through with wonderful scenic views of the hills and the forests. Every season offers a completely different feel while you drive through it.
