This is a must do when visiting PEI. We only had time to view the cliffs from above, but they were spectacular. It is a wonderful place to take photos, and I could’ve spent much longer strolling around and enjoying the views. The ocean waves have such a powerful and majestic sound. It’s fascinating to see the red clay everywhere.

Large beach located in the northern part of the island, popular with walkers, sunbathers and swimmers.
I loved seeing the cliffs off Cavendish Beach. You can go in through the national park entrance or straight to the beach. We took some of the best pictures all along this coast line and there are spots to stop and explore down onto the shore below. There are also bike trails that run through the national park so you could park and do the beach and the trails from the same spot.

Home made famous in "Anne of Green Gables" which has been restored to match the descriptions in the books.
We had a great time visiting the area that inspired the Anne of Green Gables stories. The tour guide tells you the basic and then you can walk through the house and the grounds. There is a nice modern museum area that tells the history of the author Lucy Maud Montgomery, who was inspired to right her beloved series by this beautiful area.where she spent time as a child. Well worth a visit. In July it was beautiful.

Excellent idea hours are convenient for families with kids of all ages and water slides was a central place for us to set up in provided lawn chair loungers (awesome surprise first day we packed chairs so lightened our load to carry & nice surprise to see these provided). Awesome time spent very well run.

Our family visited this weekend- 11 year old daughter and her 12 year old friend. I was worried there would not be enough for older kids to do, turned out I was wrong!! They had a blast! The park is doing a wonderful job with Covid restrictions- from mask wearing to screening upon arrival to booking on line. I liked booking on line and knowing we didn't have to worry about if it was too busy to get in and have a plan as to when we had to go- we opted for 5-10pm rather than 10-6 and for us it worked well. We preferred being there after/outside the heat of the day. While most of the rides are older everything was well maintained and the staff were excellent. A great option for family fun in Cavendish!

Ripley travelled the world collecting hundreds of oddities. Unique illusions and interactives, with bizarre videos.
This was a rainy day activity while we were in the Cavendish area. I wasn't sure if my 4 and 5 year old would like it or if they would be freaked out by it, but they loved it! They really liked the interactive play areas. A great way to spend a rainy morning!

Awesome little dinosaur museum in Stanley Bridge. The first part is the dinosaur museum, then we went outside to the petting zoo, and then we played in the kids play area. The kids loved looking at the dinosaurs and seeing the cute little kittens in the petting zoo. In the kids play area there are a ton of carnival-like games as well as a sandbox and a couple miniature buildings. For an extra few dollars we bought a bunch of water balloons and had a blast launching them at each other with the big slingshots in the play area. We will definitely be back next year!
