June 18, 2021 Kiesha Cripe

Today Casablanca is a large, modern city, but the former French colonial post still allows myriad movie moments for those who want to revisit love in the medina and Old City. Casa (as locals call it) isn’t too touristy, but it’s the most cosmopolitan and Western-feeling city in Morocco. Visit The King Hassan II Mosque and Casa's Medina.

Hassan II Mosque

This stately mosque, a fine example of pure Moroccan architecture, is the only one in the city that non-Muslims may visit.

Although the ticket is a bit expensive and you must follow the visit schedule tightly, it is worth visiting as the indoor design is beautiful and attractive and the guided tour provides useful information. If you don't want to pay the entrance fee, you can also take nice pictures in the square, which is also impressive.

This is a European style tram. It is built at ground level. You can buy single, day pass or weekly tickets at the stations or kiosks. The single ticket is 8 Dhs per person. The routes are very scenic and most connect the business districts and important sectors of the city. There is no connection for the airport but the tram connects to the Casa Voyageurs station. There is a set time schedule of the tram which is followed perfectly.

Hi, I am really excited to talk about the morocco mall experience. I have visited many times. This mall is spacious. I was lucky to assist to a celebrity concert there while the atmosphere was superb. There are a lot of shops in a very modern style. Food court is also very varied and international. I recommend because this place is a shopping, entertainment and leisure area for young and old. Enjoy

Habous allows you to dive into the Moroccan culture and atmosphere in a blink of an eye. You can find an immediate retreat from the busy streets of central Casablanca, by walking through the white-painted passage-ways and archades, filled with scented trees along the market stands. Little or no traffic allows you to hear the tweeting of birds and the calls for prayer from a nearby Mosque. Habous is close to the Casablanca Royal Palace and the Court of Justice. Truly a place to visit.

Loving this place in Casablanca. Spreading over several kilometers, the “boulevard de la corniche” is a long and pleasant avenue visited by the people of Casablanca. One can go for a jog or a nice walk from the lighthouse all the way to the pier, whilst enjoying a beautiful panorama overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Countless restaurants, hotels, clubs and a movie theatre are aligned all the way to the beautiful fine sand beach and the sumptuous villas of Ain Diab.

Old Medina of Casablanca

Reviewed By ler1

You'll want to visit so many stalls and bring back souvenirs from this vibrant Medina that if busting with Moroccain life. It is much easier to manoeuvre though this Medina than the Fes Medina. Although both are wonderful, we could find our way through the many tight and crowded alleys of this median much easier that that of the older city Fes. They had very similar wears to sell. We did eat street food in the centre square and even did so at night...which was a super experience with the snake charmers and other performers to watch. We felt safe enough, but we did keep a very close watch on our personal belongings. Don't miss out on this super interesting part of the city.
