The Apocalypse Room was my first ever escape room and it was a lot of fun. It was challenging and entertaining; overall a fun experience. Our whole group had a great time and we would do it again.

First Monday, Canton began more than a century ago and has grown to become the largest outdoor vendor and flea market in the world. This epic event takes place each month on the 4 days preceding the first Monday of the month. Spread across over 450 acres, the event is home to makers, pickers, creators, and thrifters who come together to sell items ranging from antiques, fashion, home furnishings, and more. It’s often been said, if you can’t buy it or sell it at First Monday Trade Days, it can’t be bought or sold.” Millions of visitors enjoy the shopping adventure of a lifetime during this one of a kind market. The festival grounds are adjacent to Historic Downtown Canton, Texas and offer a full range of festival foods, entertainment, as well as several R.V. Campgrounds.
My husband and I have been to Trader's Day every year during our decades of marriage. Our favorite place to shop is the area of open booths all around the civic building that we nicknamed "The Bad Lands". I love how the vendors bargain with you unlike the covered pavilions. Comfortable shoes, rolling cart, and dress for the weather are all a must!

I went with my daughter and grandkids on a Wednesday afternoon, 5:30 to 7:30pm. A 6yr old, 5yr old and 2 yr old enjoyed wandering in and out of the huge pools with nobody yelling rules at them. The life guard staff is extensive, attentive and capable. Unless you look for them, you won't even see how many are watching over the bathers. I did not visit every attraction but did see more than 20 life guards. Watching them handle a minor injury one child had revealed the extensive training and safety protocols they follow. I feel safe letting my grandkids enjoy this wonderful place.

My husband and I stayed at Stache Away Inn on the mountain during our shopping trip. All of vendors on the mountain are friendly and provided great tips and information. The atmosphere was family friendly and very convenient for taking a break from shopping. We did not shop are eat on the mountain. Alcohol is not served at any of the establishments, but you can bring your own.
