So much fun. It's actually not scary once you get going. You feel very safe in the harness and you feel that your kids are safe. It's such a great activity for right now during the COVID crisis. You get to be outside and do a unique experience like that. My daughter had turned 10 (we did it for her birthday) and a little hesitant so we only did two of the seven courses over the three hour time. Tons of unique activities just on these two courses. The zip lines were the biggest hits. Total blast throughout and makes you want to go back. We went early and were glad we did- it got a lot busier towards the midday point when we were leaving. Highly recommend, especially now.

My self and my 17 year old daughter visited on a Friday morning in August. Simply beautiful!! We both enjoyed walking around the different landscaped areas. The grounds are huge!! Lots of walking, enjoying the hardscape, plants, flowers, even suprise wild life throughout! The buildings are also beautiful, showing there aged character. The mansion is breathtaking. Everything is so well kept, with very little signs of insect's in the gardens. We were on a time restraint, I still feel we were able to see, and walk through completely in 2 1/2 hours. However I wish we had more time.

Kershaw Park

We stopped at this park before we went to dinner. We walked thru it's a great park lots of places to sit and watch the boaters, kayakers and people watch. There were these really nice huge black iron swings to sit on and enjoy the water however they all need a bit of WD40 they all squeak pretty loudly. There was a walking path, a playground, a gazebo you can sit have lunch or dinner, a small roped off beach for swimmers, a boat launch, and great views of the lake. It was very peaceful and serene, a nice place to have ice cream after you purchase it across the street. We walked the length of it and just enjoyed the breeze and fresh air I'm sure its also a great place to watch the sunset. We enjoyed our time there and there was plenty of free parking everywhere in the area. A great place for a picnic next to the water on a beautiful summer day or night. Nice to look at the water from the surrounding restaurants as well.

We went as a group to view this museum of old carriages and the home of Granger who was man who held the office of Post Master General for the longest tenure. We had an excellent docent who could answer every question and she made the carriages almost come alive with her story telling. She made the tour so much more enjoyable. There are horse drawn carriages, fire trucks, hearses. Amazing stuff. The house was lovely with gorgeous chandeliers of waterford crystal. It is not an ornate home but very lovely with the original furniture, clothing, etc. It is off the beaten track with limited hours but well worth the visit.

Wife and I went to Heron Hill Winery for our very first wine tasting event in the finger lakes. We saw Heron and decided to give it a try. We walked in there were a couple purchasing wine. Mary Kay greeted us in the most professional manner and gave us a great tasting experience. We wanted to purchase a Canandaigua passport and Heron sold out. Mary Kay and the manager went out of their way to call several wineries to see who had some left. We hit the second winery who had our passports and we knew Mary Kay had more knowledge and explained each and every wine. Mary Kay made our visit enjoyable and we expect more tastings tomorrow.
