Shedleys

Our vineyard is only 3ha in area with roughly equal areas of Sauvignon blanc, Cabernet sauvignon and Shiraz. There are smaller areas of Taminga, Cabernet franc, Ruby Cabernet, Rhine riesling and trial plantings of Canada Muscat, Muscat Hamburg, Carina a few Portugese port varieties. Chris takes great pleasure in showing visitors around the winery and explaining the wine making process in detail.

A little bit of a drive from Bridgetown, but not to bad. An unpretentious cellar door that hides a wealth of delight to the palate. I've been consuming wines for over 55 years, all levels, all styles. These wines have a uniqueness all of their own. I seriously sampled the 2017 Shiraz! First up is the semi dry hit on the palate, then the luscious flow of fruit that makes your mouth water, finishing with that elusive hint of oak. Need I say more?

No stranger to the south west my fiancé and I knew we wanted to spend more time in Bridgetown. We stumbled across this little place the night before and straight away we were sold on the winter package which included two nights accomodation a tour of the farm , scones and a dinner . The owners of this farm Antonio and Adam are lovely . I can’t say enough about the breath taking 360 views , nor the food served to us by Antonio . We ran out of time to do the farm tour or have the scones but I would highly recommend you stay longer then we could this time . I would love to come and stay here for a week even if you do nothing but sit on the sofa and watch the birds in the valley all day

My partner and I loved Sunnyhurst. Whilst waiting for the couple in front of us to finish their wine tasting we were offered to take a stroll around the beautiful garden overlooking their vineyards. The wines are simply amazing, a favourite still hasn't been chosen, it's just too hard. We will definitely be back for more and are looking forward to the wine we purchased. We enjoyed getting to know Marie-Pierre and look forward to our return, thank you!
