The park is famous for its mineral water and is the main attraction of the city. There is a small tourist oriented market and some hotels just outside the park entrance. Inside the park is a bottling plant for bottled water, a restaurant and bar, a mineral water fountain, the Prometheus monument and a hiking path which leads to the sulphur baths about three kilometers up the trail. Across the river is a small was museum which also other curiosities like a butterfly collection and a relief map of Georgia. There are beautiful gardens at the entrance to the park. A green pavilion with a transparent dome has the mineral water fountain where you can fill up your own bottle or drink the mineral water from a plastic cup provided by an attendant. A cable car leads up the mountain where you can enjoy the excellent views and also visit some local attractions. You can also hire a golf cart to take you around the park. However, it only takes you as far as the paved road goes and not all the way to the sulphur baths. A small stream flows through the park and there are several bridges across the stream. Each bridge has its own unique handrail and construction including an Eiffel bridge with a handrail similar in design to the Eiffel tower and a Lover's bridge. There are many snack carts and children's rides in the park and the children will enjoy it the most. The park is entirely covered in dense forests and there are many hiking trails in the park as well. The mineral water from the park is supposed to be good for health. It tastes OK fresh from the spring but not so good after a few hours. If you just want the mineral water, there is a spring outside the park as well. The park has a small entrance fee which is waived if you are staying in some of the hotels in Borjomi. You do have to show your hotel card though to avail of the free entrance. The park is beautiful and definitely worth a visit if you are in Borjomi. Make sure to visit the sulphur baths as well.

Beautiful place in the wood. After visiting the monastery you can have a picnic in the wood or near the small river. You can just bring a hammock and just read a book or have a nap.

What a delightful architectural piece to come across whilst sauntering down the street. There are no specific signposts pointing it out, but it is really a special building. It reminded me of a mixture between some of the mosque details from Iran and wonderful woodwork in the Shah's Palace hotel in Baku. Splendid

The trip from Borjomi to Bakuriani through the Kukushka it's a worth visit experience. We did it entirely outside from the train because it was too overcrowded, but in that way we had the chance to see more than if we were inside. Two important tips: try to get at Borjomi station way earlier the moment when the train will leave, in that way you can choose any place where you prefer to stay for the next 2 and half hours of journey. Second: on the way back take a taxi rather than the train again. One way is a super nice experience, especially because you see the snow increasing and the weather changing more and more. The opposite (Bakuriani-Borjomi) doesn't worth the journey and it will requires to spend just half an hour in Bakuriani, and 30 minutes are not enough for Bakuriani.

It was a very cold day, snow and ice on the path, we carried a water bottle to collect the special Borjomi waters from a fountain, we followed the path along the river, to hear the sounds of the waterfall, and saw a large silvery statute, it was most impressive and very unique experience. We took lots of photographs and made a careful retreat along the path to the parks entrance, (about 15 mins)
