Very well maintained lookout just a short drive from Boonah, walking tracks in excellent order and the view was wonderful.

I have been coming here for years with great picnic areas in the upper area and also along the river under the wall. The walks to Mt Edwards and Mt Mitchell are great and walks in general is fun. But this winter has been really dry and it has hit the area badly. Moogerah is not its usually pretty self. The local cafe is really hit and miss so bring a good picnic meal and make sure you have lots of water as drinking water is scare. Nice toilet blocks in the reserves. I would recommend visiting after there has been some rain as its dry and dusty ATM
