Placed on the Registry of Historic Places in 1976, the largest private estate in the history of Beverly Hills serves as a venue for city events, weddings, films and summer day camp.
Greystone Park is nestled in the midst of a beautiful Beverly Hills residential neighborhood, just off the famed Sunset Strip. The formal gardens are lovely even in winter. I imagine that in spring they are quite spectacular. Unfortunately, tours of the mansion are offered sporadically. The best part of these grounds (in addition to being quiet) is that they are free.

Spectacular museum boasts a most impressive collection by such luminaries as Van Gogh, Monet and Cezanne, along with the architectural triumph of its six buildings and gardens.
In addition to an excellent collection of artworks , the museum is also an architectural wonder. The garden and the panoramic view are breath taking. Check the calendar for free admission days and education related events for kids. Best to book tickets in advance. One can easily spend an entire day roaming the facility and enjoy every moment of it.

Sunset Plaza has been an oasis for shopping for over 90 years. It’s the ideal place to spend an afternoon shopping, pampering oneself, and then having a relaxing meal al fresco. It currently features 41 designer shops and spas and 6 restaurants and cafes with more coming soon! Sunset Plaza has had, as its many tenants, haberdashers, agents, decorators, salons, restaurants and nightclubs such as the legendary Trocadero. Several of the tenants are historically notable for the part they played in Hollywood and design history, such as photographer George Hurrell, and fashion designers Adrian and Don Loper, and Elizabeth Arden. Most recently, Sunset Plaza was chosen as a location for Vanity Fair’s Oscar Party, where a large tent was built to highlight the gorgeous views over Los Angeles. A visit to Sunset Plaza is one of the consummate experiences of traversing the Sunset Strip. Taking a break from the hectic traffic and non-stop growth in the area is one of the most enjoyable ways to while away the afternoon.
Great LA location with a great selection of shops and restaurants ... always a good atmosphere on Sunset Plaza!

The libruary is very large, clean and parking is super easy. The place feels safe and well taken care of. I am highly recommend you check schedule of their classes on line: some require registration some do not. They offer music, story telling and other kids activities. Amazing

This drive along the top of Hollywood Hills offers great views of Los Angeles.
This is basically a long whining drive through a bunch of residential Hills full of expensive houses that Hollywood and celebrity people live in. It’s kind of interesting but I would not want to spend the whole day doing it.

No, not with the sound of music, but with an astounding art collection. And that in an example of architectural art, which is the former home of Frederick Rand Weisman and wife Marcia Simon, sister of art collector Norton Simon. Subset Strip is a geeat place to have a stroll. So many fantastic places to eat both on the Strip and on the many side streets leading off it.
Lots of glitz and glamour as you'd expect from Hollywood and we really enjoyed it.
Some good places to sit and sip a cold drink and just watch the glamourous shoppers go by.

My wife and I spent a few hours strolling the shops here. The art and clothes shops are beautiful and definitely for the 1%. Everyone we came across in the shops were super friendly and got to take pictures of my wife trying on clothes we never could afford while drinking champagne! It was a eat time.

Lots of good "label" shops, very upmarket and some top well known restaurants, i.e The Ivy. Probably nicer and less glitz than Rodeo Drive.

Probably the most famous star-studded shopping street in the world.
You’ll get to see all the glamorous, high-end fashion brands shops along this short stretch. Lots of selfie photo opportunities available. If you don’t have the budget, window shopping is just fine. Lots of fine cars too. Security is quite visible. Parking is available.
