My husband and I hiked the Ridge Trail loop which is rated easy to moderate. We are both in our 60's in fairly good physical condition and didn't have any trouble navigating this trail.
The most scenic area along the trail was the creek with water cascading over the rocks making a most pleasant, relaxing sound.
The picnic area at the base of the trail head provides a lovely spot to eat a snack or lunch before or after your hike.

A panoramic overlook that stands nearly one thousand feet above the Potomac River.
My rating for this attraction is relative to other attractions in the DMV area. While I prefer the sights and sounds of peaks such as Ravens Rock, Annapolis Rock, or Buzzard Rock, the view at Prospect Peak is still beautiful and worth seeing, if you happen to be in the area. Thinking of some of my own family members, it may also be a great location to appreciate the great outdoors with a loved one who is less mobile. You can park your vehicle in the small gravel lot and linger as long as you’d like. There may be room for about 5-8 cars in the lot.

You def have to be a fan of cats. This is such a great way to help cat's find their forever homes while living a comfortable cage free life. It was clean and well kept and you could see the love the staff had for the cats. A cat lovers purrfect place to check out if in the area. They also have yoga classes there.

Located above the historic Roman Baths in the same building, the museum portrays the history and development of the town. Some pretty cool exhibits inside. The old fashion steam box makes for a great pic opportunity! Definitely worth a visit, why not, its free ?

We found so many amazing items in the antique mall. So much quality and diverse range of items to browse. Alot of fun looking around. I found several pieces of jewelry that I was able to obtain for very reasonable prices. Also a beautiful cobalt ink bottle to add to my collection. A must see when in Berkeley Springs!

Unusual log & other primitive structures house artisans of all types. They are friendly & I was impressed with the quality of the work. Someday I hope to return when I have more time to browse.I never knew that I could respond, until today, thanks for your time and comments!

Microbrewery on site making craft beer with the award winning mineral water of Berkeley Springs. Pub menu includes fresh prepared items and beer infused specialties. Bar includes full selection of our own craft beer as well as WV wines and distilled spirits. We make a variety of "Hop tails" using spirits and craft beer. Family owned and operated since 2012, we began as a homebrew retail location offering brew on premise classes. This love of fermentation quickly expanded into a microbrewery and we are working hard to establish ourselves as the premier microbrewery in the Eastern Panhandle. A relaxed atmosphere and casual menu will make us your favorite spot for a bite and some really good beer. Growlers are available to take home some of your favorite.
We stopped here for lunch on our little trip. It took a while for the food, they weren't super busy. I got the pepperoni rolls, but they weren't that impressive. They were also out of a lot of stuff on their menu. I ordered the apple sangria drink and it was very good. My mom did not like her pulled chicken sandwich as it was cold, and she was expecting it to be hot. All in all, a decent place to visit.

We saw on the Berkeley Springs website weekly events that there would be a "Public Star Party" at the Morgan County Observatory the weekend we were visiting BS. We have an 8 inch telescope and wanted to see this 16 inch telescope in action. They do ask for a $2 donation - but we put more in their jar. The party was well attended and being out-of-towners I wasn't sure - but we fit right in. Very interesting presentations and Kevin was very funny.

This shop has some very unique items. The canvas photos and water drop photos were beautiful. The wood work was great and the stone sculpture were something out of the northwestern U.S.! Finally, the teddy bears were something to behold. The vast range of talent of this family is unbelievable.

Okay, maybe there were some antiques, but mostly this "mall" (really one big room) had junk. Lots of trinkets, collectible cards, and discarded items. Some were definitely not antiques - I saw plenty of books from the 1990s.
