More than 1,000 acres of forested hardwoods and wildlife-filled wetlands include a nature center with animal exhibits and children's programs.
Visitors will be astonished at the vastness of this WOODED and shady acreage that is home to native trees, other forest vegetation and animal life (so different from Nebraska's quintessential cornfields & grasslands). Educational displays both inside and outdoors are accurate and fun for all ages. Highlights are the aviary of injured birds of prey that are well cared for by the knowledgeable staff - both paid and volunteer. There is a well preserved home site of Native Americans. The real treat are the miles of maintained trails that lead to the Missouri River, hilly & sometimes muddy. A short-distanced boardwalk is wheelchair accessible. Lots of great programs for the novice and experienced nature lover. Bring your camera!

Lots of things to do for young kids that are unique and interesting. We really enjoyed the haunted hayride out to the pumpkin patch as well. Lots of different food and beverage options. We didn't take advantage of this, but they have an area for small or large groups to rent a fire pit and just hangout after hours. I thought prices were fair for the quality of everything!

Superbly awesome stress relief. We were greeted and then helped to fill out our release forms. They then escorted us to a room and instructed us how to garb up with the apron/rubber gloves/super sexy hard hat. Quick tip: wear true tennis shoes or sturdy boots. Thin soled shoes are not your friend. We purchased an upgrade and had two large items and a milk carton of bottles for each person. You can also bring your own things to smash for a small add on fee. Make sure to take in a variety of the tools to break stuff such as bats, golf clubs, crow bars and sledge hammers. It's much more fun that way.
