A beautiful multidenominational church on the mountain, with a lovely bell and stone steeple.
Attended a wedding at the Beaver Creek Chapel. The most picturesque place of worship in the Colorado mountains. This Chapel is run out of Vail, Co. and has services for 3 denominations. It is simple, quaint and just beautiful inside including a balcony and a large window behind the alter. The exterior is designed in gorgeous stone. Worth a stop!

Located in the heart of Colorado's Beaver Creek Resort, the Vilar Performing Arts Center is a 535-seat theatre, owned and operated by the Vail Valley Foundation, which presents a variety of year-round performances including Broadway musicals, concerts, family entertainment, comedy, dance, classical music and more. The intimate and inviting performance space of the VPAC was designed to exacting specifications to create perfect acoustics and unobstructed views from every seat.
We attended the Dallas Symphony Orchestra at the Vilar Performing Arts Center and loved the show. It was our first time to this venue and we loved it. It is intimate and acoustics are superb. I dressed casually after a day of skiing and felt fine. Most people were not dressed up very much.

Moderate-to-difficult hiking trail that extends 6.6 miles from the Mitchell Lake Trailhead, beginning at 10,500 feet up to 11,300 feet elevation.
Stayed at Beaver Creek resort. Walked up from resort. Trail starts by fire station. Its a moderate to difficult hike. About 2 hours up and 1 1/2 hrs down. We took water and light snacks and stopped maybe 3 times going up. Last 20 minutes of trail are rocky and pretty steep. Take your time and pace yourself. The lake up top is well worth the hike and the scenery along the trails cant be described. Absolutely beautiful. 2 50+ yr olds made it without too much trouble. If you have any health conditions you might not want to try this.

Popular year-round resort in the Rockies offers excellent snow skiing and snowboarding in the winter and exhilarating sports such as mountain biking and hiking in the summer.
I have had an outstanding ski week at Beaver Creek! I especially enjoyed the free mountain tour with an expert that leaves from the top of the centennial lift each day at 10:00. It is extremely helpful to get to know the mountain! I loved our guides Ken and Rich.

My husband and I went on the guided snowshoe tour through the Beaver Creek Nordic Center. Our excellent guide Ulrica took us up to McCoy Park and led us in a beautiful and interesting hike. She was extremely informative and accommodating. We thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

We provide locals and visitors from pre-k to gray with opportunities to explore nature, gain a scientific understanding, and learn about the many wonders of our mountain environment through natural science and sustainability programs. We invite you to come explore your curious nature with us!
After seeing an ad in the Vail Daily, I signed up for a Walking Mountains free hike. I have since participated in two more and each one has been a delight. There are no trails into the mountains without at least a moderate increase in elevation but our guide was patient when needed and the pace was acceptable for me in my later 60’s. I discovered new trails, met many interesting people - both local and tourists, and greatly appreciated our guide who taught us so much about the science behind the beautiful nature that surrounds us.
