Umbrella Alley

The Baytown Umbrella Alley is occupied with colorful umbrellas that swing back and forth in a whimsical limbo, casting dancing shadows along the alley walls and ground. The Lee College Art Department is working on the mural that wraps around the walls that focus on the ecology of Baytown. Come take a selfie and share with #iHeartBaytown!

Umbrella Alley is located in downtown Baytown. It's actually a fairly nice area. I knew about the Umbrella Alley, but I didn't know of all the cool Texas artwork drawn by the students of Lee College. The pictures of Texas, Alligators and Raccoons are neat. I highly recommend this free attraction.

Think they’ve changed the name back to Houston Raceway, (sponsorship). Blessed to be invited to a VIP suite where the noise was bearable and had a spectacular view! (Thank you Elswick family). We did walk the grounds to “FEEL” the experience (the ground actually vibrates, no kidding) and it too was amazing! Lucky to have a facility like this here in Baytown, our back yard! Must do bucket list!
