I love this place in Rosenheim, It is in the center of Rosenheim and has been transformed into a pedestrian zone years ago. The houses are beautifully renovated. It has very nice shopping, from small stores to bigger department stores. There are several really good restaurants and cafes here with the possibility to sit outside. A ni+ce place to shop and relax. There are quite a few events here throuout the year, right now there is a wonderful little advents market.

Wallfahrtskirche Weihenlinden

Reviewed By Desertino - Bavaria, Germany

Riedergarten

Reviewed By juanisapal - Rosenheim, Germany

Riedergarten is a wonderful place to retreat in the hart of the town of Rosenheim. After a day of shopping or a difficult day at work its the perfect place to relax. It is specially beautiful in the spring.
One can always find a little corner to sit and if not then a simple blanket on the grass is not forbidden. The small Gardens offer all what any garden lovers would want. The Gardens provide shady trees, water eliminates, naturally flowers of every sort and color and an extensive medicinal garden with descriptions for all sorts of ailments.
The Gardens ones was owned the Alt Apotheke (old pharmacy) still in operation today located within walking distance from the Gardens across from the middle Tür.
During the spring through the summer months and even into late October the garden is a sort of living room for the Rosenheimer residents who's often go there to cool off, have their lunch break there or just read a book under a shady tree among the flowers.
I know this maybe difficult for most Americans to understand but most Rosenheim flats in the town are very small and non are air-condition so the park and Max-Joseph-Platz are literally an extension of their living space. Property prices in this area are extremely high. A small 1 bedroom flat in town costs well over €350,000.00 so most residents can only afford to rent. That is why the amenities of the town carry such great value. Like this park.
Still the quality of life here is very high and most residents are proud of their town and what it has to offer. The same applies to Munich to a greater degree.
Life here and around the park is a bit dream like.

Kurhaus Bad Aibling

Reviewed By magi1g - il

Hello.
As already written in my last Review "my 5th visit to Bad Aibling", This Kurhaus is standing in the middle of the "famous" hugh Kurpark. This house held-in a nice restaurant & a coffee shop. At the Kurhaus garden there is every Friday-Saturday & Sunday are various Concerts, folk music & pop bands from Bad Aibling and some cities around. I have to admit that those show's are most "Welcoming" among all the audience young & old, and i think one of the reasons is that its un the outside garden in a fresh air, & a lot of families with little children are playing together on the grass. There is a "couch" where you can buy Beer, Sandwiches & more. I will "upload" a picture for you to see how it looks..
moreover, you can get in any shop or pension\hotel the "Bad Aibling monthly brochure" there you have the exact schedule for all dates & time for a whole month events.
Dont 4get to visit these Beautiful place, & pls. give my regards... yours Magi1g

Kirche St. Nikolaus

Reviewed By Bill H - Petrie, Australia

Walking along I noticed the church steeple and as I wondered down a laneway, I found myself at the rear entrance of the church. There were people entering and leaving the church as the sound of music was coming from the church.
Upon entering the church with all reverence and humility, hoping that the roof did not cave in, given the too many years since being inside a church, I was in awe of it beauty.
The stained glass windows display the emblem of Bavaria. The ambiance fills you with peace.
It is not until you walk into the plaza at the front of the church that you appreciate the spender of the whole building.

Lokschuppen

We visited this years exhibition about the Inca. I heard only good things about Lokschuppen before, so I decided to go there. Unfortunately most of my expectations were not fulfilled. A big stake of the exhibition was about the clothing of the Inca, not showing all the other very interesting stuff, about this famous South American culture. Topics were not illustrated in depth and thematic relationships were not easy to understand for people how see/read the first time about Inca. There was also too many stuff to read, which took a lot of time.
