Jewel Cave is Western Australia's largest show cave and is home to one of the longest straw stalactites in any tourist cave in Australia. Your guide will take you on an incredible journey through several large caverns featuring colossal formations and dazzling cave crystal. The site features a cafe, interpretative and retail facilities. Located on Caves Road, 38 kilometres south of Margaret River and 12 kilometres north of Augusta.
Recommend a tour of Jewel Cave while in the Augusta/Margaret River Area. Interesting and beautiful formations and guide Richard was very informative with both his geology and knowledge of the cave and it's history. Tour went for an hour, there were a few hundred steps but no rush. Group limited to 30 people. Ours was much less than that. Recomnended

Cape Leeuwin Lighthouse is situated at the most south westerly tip of Australia, where the Indian and Southern Oceans meet off the coast of the Margaret River region. A famous maritime landmark, the tower stands 39 metres high – the tallest on the Australian mainland. Guided tours are conducted daily at the Lighthouse. The precinct features a visitor centre, interpretive displays, café and retail shop in one of the historic cottages complete with ocean views.
“Where Two oceans meet” , a lighthouse built to facilitate navigation, simply overwhelming, loved the place, and the staff was helpful, friendly and made you feel so welcome.

Unfortunately Augusta Visitors Centre has closed. Information can be obtained from the local newsagent and deckchair gourmet, both situated in the centre of the beautiful town of Augusta.

Stopped here and sat under a tree for lunch. It is a beautiful area and right were the ocean meets the river is gorgeous. We even saw a large fish in the shallows feeding on the seaweed. We saw the fin which turned out to be its tail and went to investigate.

This is an amazing investment for the Augusta community. It makes whale watching tours so much easier, the boat ramps, parking and facilities are amazing. The water is so clear you can see fish and stingrays in the water and you can fish off the marina rocks. Excellent.

This is also known as Boranup Lookout. You need a four wheel drive vehicle to get here. Travel through the Karri Trees of Boranup Forrest to see the two oceans (Indian and Southern) meet.

If you enjoy the rumble of a dirt road - easy for 2WD - and some special views, jump out at Skippy Rock and follow a 200m easy walk north to see some very cool bits of geology as well as the sea views.
