What a great place to take a leisurely stroll. "After hours" it is the perfect place to bring your people and dog friendly pooch. This goes without saying, really, but clean up after your dog - people will take notice and will take action. And humans, please pick up your own trash!

The indoor exhibits were well presented and interesting to anyone young or old. An unexpected highlight was the "Sculpture Tour" throughout the the main trail to the beaches. Easy to navigate, well maintained trails. PWS48 PWS48

Quiet and family-oriented Maine beach.
This is the prettiest beach with the softest sand in the area. Parking is difficult. This is nice for kids because of the little sandbars that form when the tide is higher.

This is a walk that not many tourists even know about (it's not as famous as the one in Ogunquit up the road). However, it's less crowded, more peaceful, and has beautiful views of the harbor, a small beach, gorgeous homes and summer 'cottages', and glimpses of the ocean. Great little path to walk off a delicious meal at the nearby York Harbor Inn restaurant.

Pizza and beer, what’s not to like? Funky Bow is in an off the beaten path location. You park below and walk up a hill to a large party. Outside are fire pits and portable toilets. Under the plastic covered qwanset type structure is the band, pizza and beer. As you enter you pay a cover charge and receive a paper wrist band. Our cover charge was $3 and beer tokens were $6 each or 5 for $25. Further inside are picnic tables and tall cocktail type tables. The beer taps are at the back on the left while the pizza line is on the right. The night we went it took 20 minutes to get our beer and the pizza was going to be 1.5 hour wait although about 1 hour later it was down to a 10 minute wait! Dogs roam freely creating disturbances and potentially urinating on women’s purses. The music is ok, there’s no lighting for the portable toilets so bring a flashlight or you phone. Fun experience, pizza was good, beer was great.

Wow, I was so excited to see that Roomful of blues was going to play in Maine at this place called Vinegar Hill music theater, that I had never heard of. So off we went to Arundel to find the Vinegar Hill music theater. I was really impressed. It is a very cute country barn theater with outdoor bar and gathering area which has beautiful lighting, it has an indoor bar as well and they do offer some snacks. I was a little bummed that they didn't have food but that was OK we had great seats as our friend is the sound engineer for the band and they were just fabulous, the acoustics in this place are awesome. The only thing that I would recommend is a space for dancing now granted it is a theater and I don't know much about this venue so it may make sense that they don't have a dancing area, but I would recommend it if you're going to have bands such as the Roomful of Blues. It is a very intimate and quaint venue I was so happy and I had a great time. I look forward to seeing who else they have play there and would very much go back. I would recommend it if you are visiting in the Kennebunk area of Maine to check it out. It'd be a great date night!!

This scenic drive in Kennebunkport passes by former President George Bush's summer home.
there is a sidewalk that crosses back and forth. Watch out though, there are plenty of curves and traffic. Walk up far enough and you will get to the Bush compound. (you can tell by the crowds) Everyone and all the locals have their favorite story of the Bush family. they are well loved in the area.

This “beach area” is great for families. A kids play ground is adjacent to the beach. Relatively small area that becomes crowded when weather is warm. Great place for kids / families to sit and watch people play in the water / waves. Note: parking is limited so early time to visit is BEFORE 9 am. Available parking is steps from your towels and chairs. Delightful place to visit with porta-potties close by. Enjoy!

This place rocks...literally.
Came for a tasting. Upon arriving the first impression was "cool" making use of an old brick factory building.
Upon entering the first thing I noticed were the groovy Peaveys hanging from the ceiling then I saw the albums and turn table and requested Zeppelin which was promptly played.
Having never been to a brewery before I was in awe. I had the opportunity to watch the process while tasting four samples. My favorite was the pepperell.
My friends enjoyed the Russian imperial stout.
I was impressed with "green" ! Reusing so much that others would discard for being out dated & out of fashion but this was I found so cool. Getting back to home grown brews and home grown business it's the American Dream displayed right before your eyes. Excellent beer...a must if your in this neck of the woods!
